Buon tutto 🌹

    The utmost perfectionist where perfectionism was not mechanical and devoid of any hint of musical expression. It was the he result of a tension between singing lines, search of the origin of the sound and sustained tension from the beginning to the end of the piece. I listened him live in the Vatican City in 1985 playing Chopin, Scarlatti, Debussy and ravel.

      It is not! Come on! More colorful beautiful piano sound for Beethoven no 5 than ABM=Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Radu Lupu Vladimir Ashkenazy Grigory Sokolov! ABM never played the Best piano concertos like Mozart 24 Brahms 1-2 Chopin 1-2 Prokofiev 1-3 Rachmaninov 1-3 Saint-Saens no 2 Tchaikovsky no 1 JS Bach 1052 Beethoven no 4 Scriabin and so on! Because ABM was a boring Cyborg Human machine!!

    Witnessing the timeless bond between Sergiu Celibidache and Michelangeli was truly a musical revelation! Their friendship transcended boundaries, igniting the stage with passion and artistry. Legends like them remind us that true harmony lies not only in the music they create but also in the deep connection they shared as kindred spirits. 🎶💫 #Celibidache #Michelangeli #MusicalMasters #TimelessFriendship

    He was a great pianist, and this is a splendid performance. He made it look so effortless, and I heard nuances in this concerto now for the first time in my long life. Just feel sad that Michelangeli always looked very unhappy. 🥲

    • @drq3098
      @drq3098 Год назад +2

      Yes, indeed, he looks unhappy and is fully dressed, unless a few happy performers. What if he is just very focused, thus smiling at the public is not relevant at all? I thought we admired them both for the music... I just *listen* again and again and enjoy the perfection.

    A fine performance. I posted a video providing a scientific explanation for the circumstances that enabled Beethoven to have a massive increase his capacity to process variables between Symphony #2 and the Eroica. This is what made him the greatest composer.

    Io non sono nessuno ma, credo, che l'unicità e la grandezza di ABM stia nel fatto che ti serviva la "carbonara" con la ricetta originale e non con l'aggiunta di panna cercando di farla piacere anche agli "americani". Spero sia riuscito a spiegare il concetto e mi piacerebbe conoscere l'opinione degli appassionati di musica. Grazie e chiedo scusa per la blasfemia dell'esempio da me usato.

    It's always a pain listening Celibidache performances. He's da man conducting pensioner amateur orchestras. No sense of dynamic, no sense of speed. Only trying to look his hair good on camera. Incredible for me that he has so much fans in Munich. Everybody knows why he didn't get out of Munich and didn't get a really 1st class orchestra. So what did ABM show? He's really better than that. But he choose slow, lame conductors, so he can do an easy job. It's a pity. Vergogna.
