It's because Jeremy keeps to himself and doesn't really care so much for online drama. He actually deleted his Twitter way back to keep away from any of it. However, there's something I've noticed about Stuckmann's reviews itself, that he comes off a bit monotone and he really doesn't delve deep into the movies he reviews, so I do understand why you can call his content empty. MauLer does a pretty good job in impersonating Stuckmann, I'll give you that, but I've never seen any of his videos. However, I've seen some videos of a similar reviewer, The Critical Drinker. Not to say I'm a fan, but he does go deeper into the things he reviews moreso than Stuckmann I think. So yeah, I get why you can say Stuckmann's content feels empty, but that doesn't mean I hate him. However, when I first heard that impression and MauLer that hearing him is painful, I got the impression that MauLer was jealous of his success.
@@aboodash9008 Jeremy Jahns is a great example of that type of critic, he's engaging can give a general temperature on a film and why he had that impression, but also keeps things concise - ideal if you just want a quick impression before checking out a film. Stuckmann is like the microwave ready meal version of JJ. Is Stuckmann successful? I can't say I know much about him outside of RUclips. But from what I've seen of Mauler and Drinker they'd prefer to do what they're doing to a smaller audience than the Stuckmann-Churn, I don't read envy there just a willingness to jab his low effort commentary. Would've liked to see Chris talk to other critics and get some pointers.
