In this lesson, you will learn how to simplify radical expressions that are multiplied together or divided. We will use the rules for radical multiplication and division that we have learned in a previous lesson.
The core concept is that when when two radicals (square roots or cube roots) are multiplied together, you can bring them under on single radical multiplied together.
Similarly, if one radical is divided by another radical, you can perform the division under one single radical.
I’ve seen many teaching videos on various math subjects. This man is by far one of the best. The break down explanations are A+.
I appreciate it!
@@MathAndScience I absolutely confirm it; you are a wonderful teacher, one of the very best because not only you are very well prrpared but you can break it down for others in full clarity; thank you s lot prof Jason
This man is nothing short of a blessing. I seriously appreciate all the work you put into your channel
Sir Jason!
You are the best. Everyone loves you. We love you. The whole universe respects you and admire you.
This might be the nicest comment I’ve ever had. Thank you!
Well it took me a couple of hours to watch the entire vid, in bits, and do all the exercises and so on, but it was definitely worth it. I now really feel I get it. Thank you
You are not a human anymore, I am falling in love with science and math, thank you!
This man has 373k subs but only has 3k views on this vid. Just needed to get that off of my chest and ur vids are very helpful

I can't thank him enough, helped me through college. Also I took Java and his videos helped me alot , God bless him. 🤲👍👍👍
Ooh my god. I want to give you an award for explaning this so well
Unbelievable instruction, very well explained and it almost feels intuitive, thanks~
Thank you very much for your easy-to-understand teaching approach.
it’s my last year of high school math and my average is the highest it’s ever been in math and all thanks to you! :))
Thank you very much I feel much smarter now, I learn much from you.
He is my best teacher
A little tip. When multiplying radicals, you can combine the results of all factor trees. This allows you to find all pairs with minimal calculations. Evaluating the two factor trees @22:15 we can see a pair of 3s and a pair of 2s, a 5 and a 7. This gives us 6 * the sqrt of 35.
Thank you to teach me way of solving sir, from Japan .
Thanks very much. I am finally understanding much. Brilliant 👏
For all those wondering when rationalizing the denominator, I crossed out 3 to thesquare root of 30/square root of 6 times the square root of 6/6 and got the same answer. Surprised my man jason who loves crossing out asap didn't do this.
Excellent teacher!!!!
thank you thank you thank youu! this helped me quited a bit. i have a hard time with asking for help so videos like yours really help :]
Thank you so much! This helped me so much!!
Great math explanations 🎄
Best teacher ever.
Only you make it so easy. Thanks again
Your voice is shooting and you really take your time to explain alot of things.
Thanks!
thanks sir for this beautiful gift
Jason, you DA BOMB!!!❤
26:30 Of course radical 6 over radical 1, which is the same. Very nice tutor. God bless you 🙏 ❤️
Thank you for helping me improve my grade in algebra
Good luck in your studies!

Thank you teacher.
Awesome you are i wish u all the best
Thank you so much!!!😊
Great Explanations from an Extraordinary Man 👍
Awww shucks thanks!
@@MathAndScience
I have an expression that I would like to understand 🙏
Radical to the index Square Root of X out of Cube Root of X is equal to the Ninth Root of nine - Could you simplify it for me pls 🙏
Thanks
thank u
Thnx a lot you are great and super teacher
THANK YOU... SIR...!!!
Thank I learn about radical...
Super Teacher in action.

You do have a choice of combining the prime number from 30 and 42 at video time 22:00 minute instead of multiplying it to a big number, do this...30 prime is 2.3.5 and 42 prime is 2.3.7 pull pair 2.3.(5.7)=6(35) easier.
Yes are always multiple ways to solve a problem. Thank you!
nice!
Can't you treat 3√30/√6 as 3/1 • √30/√6 and directly reduce to √5 from √30/√6?
This dude hit 1m grats bro
Thank you!
I really enjoy your videos I learn much, but I think I may be ignorant in asking a question, ..you can answer I hope, tell me please what is a RADICAL I feel so lost Thank very much.
D.P.
Hi! A radical is just the word we use for that square root symbol. Its the check mark looking thing - that is called a radical. You can also call it the square root symbol, but then you need something to call the cube root symbol, etc. So we use the word "radical" to describe any of those.
Thanks for that question and answer.
You teach very well, but it kinda complicated to me though
Yes, everything seems complicated the first time we learn it. Please keep at it and keep practicing. I promise it will get easier!
When you solve why do you put a big bracket [ in front of the answer?
Its just how I circle my answer. I prefer to do that instead of circling the answer because when the answer is really big then my circle is enormous - so I just put a bracket to indicate the final answer.
@@MathAndScience Oh, thanks for the explaination, as brackets are usually in pairs and one bracket, more than once, was really bugging me.
👍👍👍👍
Some of you don't like that. It has a square root in the answer. "That's just tough". haha I love this type of math!
no reason to do sq root of 1260. initial factor trees of 30 and 42 provide answer (Luis noted this already)
18:10 or just divide 30 by 6
nice username 😃👍
@ why...?
@@mominakhan4611 the joke was we have the same last name, but yah true lol
@ i know, lmao
@@mominakhan4611 Sure you did fob
He's doing this the hard way
Please watch "Math Art Studio in you tube, I hope you will enjoy it.
@15:45, if you would have done it as a single large radical, you would have saved a whole lot of time.
Wow. Not that hard to do he says... as I cry bc I can’t figure it out
Kayla I used to be just like you - so lost. Please view the lesson again and work the problems with me. After you see me work the problem, get your own pencil and work it yourself, repeating the same steps I took. After a while you will start to get confidence. Then go from there. It seems so scary because you most likely have a rocky foundation. You might need to back up and go over more basic material. But don't just watch - you need to DO the math - then you will start to understand - I promise.
