Dear Russ,
You were there for me through the medium of music whenever i was at my lowest. I was 17 and my first car i got for free had broke down, my only way to school and my two part time jobs while i was in school. let alone i was taking over a semester of college classes in high school at 16/17 because i knew it was going to be hard to afford college when my parents couldn't even put food on the table. Many nights i went to sleep hungry bro, i slept on springs next to mice that often chewed through my school clothes and work clothes. I didn't stop though, i bought a bike with the couple hundreds i had left and start riding my bike miles to school and my part time job in my town and hitched rides to my other job in another city. long story short in that year or so stretch i would only listen to your music on those bike rides at 12/1 in the morning when i would get off of work to go home to study and not eat then wake at 5 just to make it to school on my bike the next day. i am now documenting my journey through social media and i created a clothing company called 'arbol' which translates to tree because i realized all you can do in life is grow. Your music is a blessing to me.
