In this video we feature the best collection in the UK of German combat equipment. Hopefully you will enjoy seeing what can be achieved with pure dedication!
I would imagine a lot of those pieces were bought in his early days of collecting like myself when in the 1970s things were a lot easier to find and a lot cheaper.Oh happy days
My grandfather collected a lot of these original items after the war, (1945 - 1980) when it was so much more easier to find them. He said he’ll give me most of them when he passes. He doesn’t want to right now as it’s his prized possessions.
Living in the UK certainly makes finding these WWII items a lot easier. I've seen other videos where outdoor military shows in the UK are loaded with German uniforms and other items. Here in the USA things like that are very scarce. I personally find WWII items (no guns) in Estate Sales of veterans who have died, however, I am very uncomfortable buying any German tunic because of the strong potential of it being fake. My Dad was in WWII (44 -45) and he brought home a few uniforms so I know all of those things are original/vintage.
German world war II memorabilia is too pricey the start collecting as a young lad. This is a one-of-a-kind collection I'm probably never be duplicated.
My Grandfather was taken prisoner at Supercharge..l always asked him what the Germans wore and he always said.. “..no matter what was flying..they still had their caps on...” Other things to think of eh? But just imagine IF he had done like (others) have done...he picked up say...15 on his travels? I have been in the British Army myself...(because of my Grandfather) and seen the remarkable prices of pieces of even modern equipment sells for...
where i can find a good mannequin ? , i have an nskk uniform . I am from New York City, so for me it would be better a place in America that sell them due to the problems that covid 19 has caused in international shipments
Check out this site: yanksmannequins.com/ Normally, they stock 13 different full mannequins. Due to overseas shipping issues, most are out of stock currently, but many will be restocked at the end of November 2021, per their site. They are intended to fit military uniforms, so are smaller in stature (5' 9") than what you see in most modern fashion mannequins. Regimentals features them in one of their videos here: ruclips.net/video/IA63ytqc3E8/видео.html
@@luger_Mann They are obviously very similar firearms, but they are the precursors to the MP-40, not MP-40's - unless we are being deliberately imprecise.
One thing I absolutely hate about this collection is the barrel of the mp40 resting on the original $20,000 second pattern FJ boots. Really don't like that.
@@danfisher8096 that explains it. You dont happen to know its provenance do you? Interested to know what building/location it came from. Great collection.
I like at 12.45 about what “young collectors” can collect...MOST CERTAINLY NOT original WW2 German stuff..... I remember in the 70’s as a kid where a German POW camp was and they had SHOEBOXES FULL....and I mean FULL of playbooks (as I later found out) going for 50/£1 a book!!! All the collectors were after the “big” stuff..helmets..smocks..etc etc.. Now...go to War and Peace...they are looking to find a watch that matches the (pay book)....and if it has a number and the guys history...especially the TOP arms (Waffen SS, Armour etc....) those old Pay books have increased more in value than a barn find AC Cobra to many collectors
Another 50 something guy who lives with his mother. Where are the Horst Wessel Waffen SS drinking songs? I'm sorry maybe a Fleetwood Mac song would have been more appropriate soundtrack for this bozo the clown collection of movie props.
I have an SS buckle marked O & C ges gesch. There is a black painted background behind the swastika and words. Is this anything special than any other early SS buckle? Not all are painted. And it IS as the vet got it. ??
Great Dan a wonderful friends collection there. It is a shame that prices have got so steep (especially Ww2 German items like these) to make that sort of collection only possible for adults with serious financial resources. Saying that young collectors can specialise and Allied WW2 itema are more prolific and therefore far cheaper. Would love to se your Afrika Korps collection or some more friends displays.
Uh-oh. Did you see the moth fly out of the Panzer wrap at the 10:24 mark? Better look into that.
Well spotted,HA HA
CHRIST
Hawkeye! You picked that one off. You have a keen eye. I want you walking point for me. 😉

That cat probably wasn't even born in the 70's!

When he snuffs it, his landlady will come up stairs and say" Time for all this old shit to go in the skip".
Leaves me longing to afford some of these gorgeous pieces! Great video..
My only hope is that because I am young and healthy. That I will live long enough to have a happy family. And a collection like this.
A beautiful collection!
Wow what a wonderful collection. Thank you for sharing it.....
Thanks very much, incredible collection,, fantastic,,,, wonderfull things.

Conscripting farm labourers probably led to the food crises in Germany.

8:15 too bad we didnt get a close up. Would have loved to see it!
Amazing collection 😁💪
Damn that’s class A
Here in the states you could collect the weapons to go with it! Great collection.
Like a Badazz G43 Rifle to go with that Para setup.
But....and this is a BIG..but...if it meets your collection (no matter what collection)...I truly believe it’s worth it
I would like a better sound on the voice (closer to the mike), and also hold the items you talk about closer to the camera. Please.
I was on Challenger tanks...and have seen parts that were supplied to us as “throw away” selling for ABSOLUTELY stupid money...
I just sticking to my HJ, BDM and DJ dummies, a bit cheaper but I do have some SS bits and flags...
The New intro looks nice :)
hello i would now if oak tree leaf camouflage blouse can be sewn with black thread, thank you in advance
Sandy, i saw some reproductions -.-
I’d love to have a collection like that, all I have is 7 German ww2 letters I’m trying to trade for something a little better

The words shop window, extremely rare, everything is worth thousands, long term investment. Thank god for those wonderful affordable reproductions.

...AUSGEZEICHNET!!!!
Sir can you confirm of infirm the existence of bluish helms of fallschirmjager or they wore grey?
I love seeing other people’s collections! Awesome stuff there.
Any skulls or vt cap buttons for se?
Oh...I also think....
....coming UP
Why did you mix the pants on the panzer uniform I’m just wondering ?
Where do you get your stuff?
at 11:18, you mention a "very, very early, pre-war MP40 pouch"
Huh? How can there be a prewar MP40 anything?
My guess would be the Mp38 and mp28
@@luger_Mann They are obviously very similar firearms, but they are the precursors to the MP-40, not MP-40's - unless we are being deliberately imprecise.
Mp38u40. Its common to link those two.
One thing I absolutely hate about this collection is the barrel of the mp40 resting on the original $20,000 second pattern FJ boots. Really don't like that.
2:40 that AH bust looks like Jimmy Hill. Might just be me or the camera angle.
It’s been run over or hit with shrapnel. It’s gurning hitler

@@Roller_Ghoster this is indeed a poorly executed replica
Who in their right mind would spend 20 grand on a pair of lace up boots? Mind boggles...
Does anyone know where I can source these fabric mannequin heads from?
Thank you & best regards
any shop window with dummies :)

👍
In at least a year....
...?this collection...
designed by Hugo Boss too ??
Hugo Boss didn't design the uniforms . HB was one of many manufacturers ...
FOR SALE
Very nice. I collect dog crap.
The only problem I have I can't show anybody my collection cuz it stinks so bad I pass out masks to view it
Many easy to spot fakes on that collection
The music has to go…😂
do you have a website???
Shame about the music.
I would not call a collection about SS stuff amazing
Evidently you have never read a book or have a clue about the combat history or the reputation of the Waffen SS in battle in WW 2!
Like the video and the discussion but that music is seriously horrible, like what you’d expect from low grade 70’s porno. Please don’t use it again.
Another 50 something guy who lives with his mother. Where are the Horst Wessel Waffen SS drinking songs? I'm sorry maybe a Fleetwood Mac song would have been more appropriate soundtrack for this bozo the clown collection of movie props.
Lest we forget …. German
I have the same Waffen SS poster the yellow one. You should’ve done a video on the Great War it started on July 28 1914. 4 remberance
Jesus!
If only...
Not to be in Australia and with the super inflated prices nowadays.
Wo kann ich eine Bestellung tätigen , ich suche einen WW2
Stahlhelm evtl. SS mit Preis
Aggghhhhh a moth at 10:24 kill it

Excellent video of a superb collection but I had to mute the annoying discordant so-called "music".
Thanks for sharing 😊

Very interessting ❗💯
almost fake
Wow!

Incredible. How can someone afford this?
Robbing banks?
Hell, too much sick collectors out there. No chance to get on this level.
Times are over!
