Appreciate this talk. And Ray's comment about first order, second order issues.. It would have been good to hear application on the elephant of Covid opinions which we all came through and how there lacked grace and respect toward unvaccinated people in churches.
I would be interested about correcting Christians on incorrect biblical doctrine when we have that knowledge. I want to be able to do it in a loving way and especially when they're a leader of a small group so they're teaching incorrect doctrine to others. But also it's not necessarily a salvation issue.
I agree wholeheartedly. The title immediately assumes you are 100% correct at all times and not open to correction. There’s a certain proverb about that 😉
Colossians 3:13-14 ESV [13] bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. [14] And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
3:10 no you are wrong, the more mature Christian would never offer a drink to another Christian, because the more mature Christian would live his life in terms of Hebrews 12 and would not mind if something is PERMISSIBLE, mature Christians care about what is BENEFICIAL and does not easily encumber. Alcohol is a terrible analogy because mature Christians, even if they may, do not use alcohol with his brothers.
This verse comes to mind as I hear this discussion:
"If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men."
Romans 12:19

While I agree with the title comment, I also know better than to ignore how that Christians I don’t agree with have put up with me all this time.
So true.
"Put up with?" Whoa, that's starting off on the wrong foot...

Also Christians experience problematic feelings and need help with them. The video gives great guidance.
