I remember buying out this album when it came out in 2005, i slept many night listening to it in repeat mode on my cd player. Amazing sound for those years compared to the other bands of the time. Still shred everything. Best band line up in my opinion.
This video looks very timely with it's low quality and fuzziness. MTV would only play pop music on any of it's subsidiary channels like MTV Hits and MTV Jams. The only rock/metal videos that did get airplay were from the really big radio bands you'd find in nu metal, post grunge, and pop punk. The only way for underground metal bands such as Decapitated to get their videos out there was through RUclips, which had only been around for two years when this video came out. However, the song and video are both killer, though!

What I don't like about a lot of music videos is how much camera time the lead singers get, especially in metal when the most impressive stuff is in the guitar and drum work (in my opinion). It pisses me off even more in situations like this when at the start of the song they show the singer standing around, not even singing. Time that could've and should've been spent on the drums and guitars...
I don't know why, but whenever I say "bass" or someone else, I don't think it as ordinary guitar. Indeed, it is guitar, but I don't know why, I don't think of it in that way. I picture it as totally different instrument, although it is stringed, shaped, and sounds like a guitar.
Definitely one of the best Death Metal albums ever. It showcased a new way to write Tech Death, a breath of fresh air as opposed to Winds. Don't get me wrong, I like Winds, but this album destroys it in terms of technicality, song writing, and variety. It's also the best work Vitek did IMO, with the exception to Spheres of Madness. And to the guy who called this Core: This is NOWHERE NEAR Core. The ONLY similarity is that the vocals are varied between highs and lows, and DM bands do it already.

Anticult is a great album. I would say all the other post-Vitek stuff is hit or miss though. Blood Mantra title track is probably one of my favorite Decapitated songs!
