These small motivational talks are really helpful! In a world where the media is inclined towards showing more of the negative stuff. I hope if these videos could be posted in the morning so that we can all have a fresh start! Once again . Thanks 👍
When u said I don't buy expensive car, clothes and house I thought what's the use of earning in millions but when U told about experiences than I realised u r completely right. You are my role model ❤️ and best teacher
I like your videos because 1. You always seems genuine 2. All analytical & logical content 3. Your simplicity 4. Great way to express Thanks Akshat for such great content, sharing your experience and expertise which actually helps me. 👍🏼
Minimalism is what I strongly believe in but do not understand why people around me do not understand it. Great content Akshat, you are mindful about your life.
You are my first mentor and role model! The learnings I got from you are far more and better than my entire education..Keep making such videos,Thanks a lot!!
This is a very practical video. 1) Curated Minimalism is highly underrated. Thanks a lot for sharing this up openly. 2) Being a logical contrarian can have few oppositions but its always good to stand up for our opinions with solid facts supporting it.
Oh my God Akshat! I follow all the three habits. I read everyday. Even I try to multitask and read like reading while having my coffee. Being a student, it does get difficult but I manage to read 50-60 books a year. I have been following minimalism and essentialism and it has really helped me a lot. I can already see progress in my life. I have also started following my passion. I just started an Instagram page on something I really love doing and it makes me so happy. It was great to know that you've also inculcated these habits. You're an idol for me. I've been binge watching your videos. It adds so much value to my life. Thanks a lot for making these videos:)
The three best things that I have in my life: 1. Experiences that I have learnt from my failures. 2. The decision I have taken to do a startup over doing a job, just after completion of my graduation (my startup failed but I have learnt a lot). 3. I have learnt to be humble and grounded at any point of my life, it's the least we can do for anyone.
Thats so good. You are living a simple yet joyful life, yes you said it correct, curated minimalism. I remember Ankur Warikoo saying that people in their 20's should live like pauper and save. Thanks for everyday quality content
This is what I was going through from two years...stoicism, minimalism.. This is how I wanted or was planning to be in next five years...and found you in youtube..Thank you Akshat..
I accidentally stumble on the pshycology of money book and read it on a go and now I am seeing these book recommendation everywhere. Univers do behave in a magical way.
Such Beautiful yet simple and Grounded Thoughts can oy be Nurtured by a Beautiful and Unadulterated Mind..... A champion FAMILY MAN...... Nice One....... Keep up the great work
Hi Akshat sir! Sir, since the day i started reading your newsletter, your linkedin posts, viewing your content on YT, I have started to see you as my guru. My interest in you ignited after knowing the fact that you have done your MBA from INSEAD(Which happens to be my dream Bschool) , but, you are soo much more than than that sir. Your thoughts, teachings, passion are soo grounded & simple, yet soo profound. I hope I meet you someday sir (That is actually on my bucket list). Thank you for everything that you do sir!
I also picked up this habit of reading 2-3 books at a time of different genre and it helps a lot. I can read the book as per my mood and according to the time of the day. I am reading Tuesdays with Morrie (relates to life and death), Psychology of Money (for ABC) and The Da Vinci Code (suspense, thriller). This helps me to not make book reading monotonous, and I can read it as per my mood :) Thank you for this video. Subconsciously your out-of-the-league opinions and simplicity has made you a role model for many of us.❤️
The minimalistic approach to life promotes us to be focused and following a proud "MANAGEMENT" throughout life. I request you to post something regarding the Edtech industry, its platforms, and its impact.
Wonderful thoughts Akshat… in a world that places premium on unscrupulous aggrandisements to be real world success… your thoughts are indeed ‘positive disruptive inspirations’…. Thanks for taking time out for subjects as these..
Akshat - Just a suggestion, you said you spoke at various institutes. Someone like you needs to speak to students at ICAI where prospective CAs have to undergo mandatory communications course. There's so much to learn and observe from you. Not discrediting the faculty there, but someone like you can add genuine tangible value and can change some minds. Do consider it!
Life coaching , passion and hardwork is the key. Liked the concept of curated minimalism. It's a way to sustainable development. The habit of book reading to be rebuilt in the society.
I agree just owning a house may not make sense some times.. but planning and designing and realizing your own house is a good experience in life. .Especially if you have a little architect and designer in yourself.
1. My dream house which i completed. 2. Travelling to all places one by one from my bucket list. 3. Earning to the extent that my curated minimalised priorties seem to be affordable. I like cars but dont like buying it, I love beautiful houses so i keep adding ideas into my house.
Hey Akshat, this is probably my 2nd comment on a youtube video in past 10 yrs time since i'm watching youtube. What you've shared in this video is very powerful and is making me rethink on various ways which i otherwise wouldn't have thought off. Thank you for doing it. i'm sharing this video with my family.
This is one of the best thought provoking videos that I’ve come across in recent times. Kudos to Akshat for making this video and invoking a thought to realise on life values.
Decathlon clothes are mostly synthetic and not good for Indian climate and people allergic to synthetic materials, like me. I spend a lot on cotton n silk! 😣 Pursuing passion...yes I am going to start doing it now! I started watching your videos since last week. I found you very sincere n simple! Thank you so much for U tube videos!
Your thoughts are genuine which we can inculcate in our lives so that it can help to have a simple but effective life for an individual and to make the world a better place . And I totally agree with the Decathlon products😁
Absolutely love your content. This video really gave me the ans that yes, passion evolves with time , age and situation. I too get anxious often that what is my passion , am I really following it or not . But this video and your views helped me in getting clarity. Thankyou
Its such a nice thing that the things which he wants zayn to learn from him is actually sharing with us and that shows his perception towards his audience!
Reading is something which we are reducing over time.Good to remind.Minimalism is very difficult to adopt especially by youngsters. They all want to spend more & enjoy life.An old habit followed by our parents. Good Video.
Amongst an ocean of Vloggers on you tube where majorly ite an act being put up,,,, i have just started following your videos, and I must say my preliminary reaction, is that you surely come across as a Genuine honest person who does not cook up stories. I would surely lile to connect with you. Stay blessed
I’m a new subscriber, now watching your early videos from the time you commenced. I see you’ve been stressing on the fact that your passion lies in teaching and cheers to you for that, your videos seem honest and informative. Thanks a ton for stressing on these basic facts with clarity.
I like the word curated minimalism. I fall in the same category too. the whole world thinks you're broke. but the decisions that those people are taking (non minimalistic ppl) will make them broke in days to come!
Asking yourself whether you need something or want something is an important practice. Like many people , I too wishlist stuff. But I let it stay there for a week and then check again if I still desire it and most of the time it's no and I drop it. Saved me from a lot of unnecessary spending :)
That follow the passion advice you gave - A very similar explanation has been given in the book " Be so good they can't ignore you" by Carl Newport. Great thought!
Akshat, you are one in a million or perhaps one in a trillion. Three thumbs up. Proud of you.Well said! we don't need many things in life to enjoy life. They are unnecessary baggage. Already
Hello Akshat, I usually watch your content related to investing and financial freedom. Your content is well researched with a pinch of your experience and explained in lucid language with sophistication. I really connect with this particular video. You won't believe, apart from reading books, I inculcated the habbits you mentioned. My daily wears are mostly from Decathlon only like my T shirt, joggers, shorts, shoes etc. Although I could afford SUV but I pefered to buy Nexon. The habbit of minimalist expense with optimal efficiency brings peace to my mind. It feels good when I see such a brilliant investor sharing the same habbits I inculcated. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with common ppl like us.
Hi Akshat, loved this. You come across genuine and real when you speak about these topics unlike many others on youtube. I would recommend this channel to any youngster I meet or talk in future. Keep up making more videos!
