I’ve just stumbled on your RUclips videos on how to play the popular Christian songs! I am a beginner at 60 even though I leaned to play by music as a child. I seem to follow along fine because I can play somewhat by ear but if you could would it be possible to show the keys in the top of the screen as well as saying them? I’d appreciate what you can do to accommodate.

I have a problem figuring out timing of song, I like to play using a beat, like from my cheapie yamaha ypt-300 (don't know when I'll be able to afford a workstation I really want) and I need help with the timing as this is an irregular beat song. Can you point me in the right direction, please?
Sometimes I'm even wondering if songs are 2/4, 3/4, etc. Not my strong area, timing.

My best starting advice for you is to practice finding the keys of songs regularly. Part of training your ears is practicing finding the keys of songs regularly. The more you do it, the faster you become! God bless!
@@scottstudio2024 well so far what I do is try to learn new songs daily and I've been getting the keys correct. I try my best to figure out how the song is played then I search it up

Did you skip a chord you didn't give a bass note to the GCE cmajor chord
+Luquisha Williams My apologies. I did not say what the bass note was for that chord. It is a C chord (inverted) and the bass note is C.
I love the way teach, but you didn't add the chords where she is saying "you know me Lord, and I trust you with my life" It would have been nice to have had more of the fillers.
