Where, inside, is the second door outside? If the entrance door for some reason is unusable, all that leaves is the window downstairs. How many people can get out through that one in case of a fire? 😮 I understand that particular window in the bathroom, but not the kitchen/dining area. It should be bigger and low enough to see out. Consider changing those dangerous stair steps to a circular stairway. It's bad enough having to go downstairs to go to the bathroom.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that door is to its own storage room (the room that's darkened out in the floor-plan overhead shot, behind the walls of the bathroom and dining nook), for like the water heater, furnace, etc.

There shouldn't be a backdoor leading out to the porch. That's where the bathroom is located so it should be closed off. This build looks wrong.
