For me, Mino is definitely an artist. You can see his attempt to deliver a story, a timeline, and a mood through this album. It starts so rough, aggressive, cocky, and so raw. It’s like a young individual starting his social life, so hopeful, energetic, and maybe too ambitious. Then, the sound becomes more flowy and groovy, more confusing and exhausting (like in I want to, Daylight, Pow! And Lost in a crowd). Maybe that person got hit by hardship of life, got carried away by temporary joy and lost his purpose. The last part, songs with slower tempo write the epiphany moment of the man. He finally found his true happiness and his peace from simple things in life. Damn, I don’t even know Korean. =.= But whatever, I feel ya, Mino... Well done. :)) I already felt like I’m in love with this music.
Some kpop fans need to know, YG artists never release songs to satisfy the GP. They only make songs that represents themselves, but it just happened that a lot of people like em 👏😌
