20 + yrs into caravaning and we're still learning, picking up tips from fellow caravanners either seasoned or beginners. To be honest we gave up on having 2 aquarolls we just use a watering can to top it up every couple of day's or so.
    Cheers mate

We needed the second aqua roll in the end as we use so much water.... more when the eldest kids used to come with us. I find it easier just to fill both and switch them when needed. Cheers... Ian

Great tips Ian, regarding putting awning up I was advised to start at the front as the angle is less of a drag than the back top corner and found it so much easier. Happy camping everyone when safe to do so

Thank's for the tips Ian. I always find your relaxed down to earth and informative style enjoyable to watch! P.S regarding the rubber gloves, many garage forecourts have disposable gloves available adjacent to the fuel pumps, I often pick up a few when filling up, they always come in handy.

Hi Ian, some good top tips, wish You were around when we started caravanning. We could write a long list of tips on what not to do. Here are a few.
Manoeuvre cvan using motor mover with hand break on.
Set up and forget to put steadies down.
Disengage motor mover with handbrake off watching as cvan rolls away from you.
It’s all good fun and we love it 👍

hahaha yeah like in one of my videos... if it's been a hot night remember to close the windows in the morning. I have walked into many a open window resulting in lots of cuts and bruises. LOL

Hi Ian, would like to add , knowing where things are, ie first aid kit and knowing how thing work, like the fire extinguisher. Its no good if you can't find it or trying to read the instructions while your caravan burns down. Great video and roll on 1000 subs. Mark

Some good tips there Ian,we used to have to constantly fill the water so two aquarolls would have helped,we have an internal tank on our current van which makes it easier,we fill that and then have the aquaroll as a backup,Graham does the loo and has extra large marigolds which he uses and then cleans them with antibac gel (large bottle from poundshop) it lasts ages,no way do I empty the loo Lol especially when we're off grid and on a site with no toilet or showers that's he's job 😂😂 . Keep up the vlogs and I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New year 🎄🎁

    • @ForTheLoveOfCaravans

We have two aqua rolls, I have a small submersible 12 volt pump that is placed in the spare roll with the discharge hose placed into the main feed roll, with a switch is in the van. If we use water for a shower etc I just flick the switch and I transfer water into the main feed roll without having to go outside. This gives you twice the capacity without leaving the van.

Another interesting video. I'm not sure that tow ropes are still legal on the road and you have to have a solid connection. Still good for getting off muddy rally sites though !

    Hi there,
We’ve just bought our first caravan so find your tips really useful so thanks.
We’ve also just had a new tow bar fitted, do you recommend removing the paint from the tow ball for better friction?
    Thanks in advance

Try a kampa awning pulley to get awning on rail
so easy to get your awning on your rail
Checked others out and not worth the money you pay for them
You can check kampa awning pulley on you tube videos
You will never struggle again to put awning on rail
Take about 2 mins to do
