As a European is fun to see their "shock" of culture. From "little cars", cobblestone roads, ancient buildings, narrow streets... and for us is normal across Europe. But when we see the USA (or Canadian) huge cities, huge cars, massive roads, and huge new buildings and we get the same feeling as they are having.
Yeah our huge cities are terrible.

I have been driven in almost every country in Europe and can told that the Italy have one of most narrow rods and small stone street`s. If they can go to see some more town`s in Beatiful Italy have much to see there like ( Sicilia`s island - Catania, Messina, Palermo etc. and on North, north - east site of country) At all my opinion is that they have one of oldest story on Europe and they still use most of them.

as someone whos been blessed to be able to go rome twice. its fun to see people experience history like rome has for the first time. first time i went was with my family as a young adult and second time was with my wife for our honeymoon. rome is a really special place.
Mia is always so great on the channel. Hopefully she can make more appearances like the old days.

Great footage of the ruins as you were driving along, Damon. Italy just has an aura about the architecture, the restaurants, the shops and the cafe's along the streets that make the video so unpredictable. The streets are really clean even with the crowds of people eating, walking around, sightseeing and taking pictures. The Trevi Fountain and the 135 Spanish Steps are a sight to see and you've seen it in person, Damon. 👍 It'll be an expensive wedding, if Mia decides to get married in Italy.

So cool, anywhere you go in Italy is mind blowing, Roma looks massive compared to how most people would imagine. I once went to Venice & is just crazy to see, the Italians have a culture like no other 🤌

Love the vlog especially since I live in Rome and seeing one of my favourite youtube content creators visiting my home country and city is fab. Love it and preps to the driver, I live in Rome for over 18 years and I still wouldn't be able to tell you so much historical context.
If DDE took there charger an put a giant supercharged blower like Dom's on it I'd consider that an exotic to be daily driven .

1987 flight from Seattle to Vancouver,
sleeping in the seat and then a air pocket threw me out of the seat against the sealing🤣 No biggy..
Later we got the Ferry from Seattle to Victoria Island....
I m just a few months younger then Damon, so for a small boy that was quite a experience..
Most of the 6 weeks we spend with my uncle in Seattle, with 2 mini trips to Canada...
Was beautiful, giant tree woods, Indian reservation, lot of wild animals and nature, peaceful...
Mrs DDE is a smoke show , such a beautiful family .

It is definitely ALWAYS busy at Trevi Fountain
I went at 2pm and 2am last july and couldn't find a good spot to sit on the actual fountain at either time
I highly suggest a Spain/Barcelona trip as well. Would be fun for the family.

I think you underestimated how badass of a birthday present it is, considering examples of me and my friends who are all in our 20s, and use the bus regularly, 2 people from our friends group even own cars, most of us have full time paying jobs, and some are uni students, I'm 22 and I might be able to buy a car in like 6 years from now if I save up and car prices don't sky rocket again. good luck trying to top this next year lol. maybe a house would top it, but the goal shouldn't be to "top" the birthday present with better "things" it should just be more shared experiences as a family for as long as you can before she starts a family of her own and creates separate memories with them, cherishing these experiences is what would be the best, and it doesn't even have to be travelling to foreign countries.

Idk how big of a shot of nitrous y’all are running in the caravan but try a nitrous progressor to ramp the nitrous in everytime you hit the button that way it’s not just all the nitrous and a big jump in power as soon as you hit the button. It would be a lot more forgiving on the transmission

Fast and furious thing HE cant top, but travelling is easly repeatable. As an European which do travel 2-3 Times a year in Europe, i find it funny that travelling with family is somehow special for them. It's just simple holidays.
Wow, your driver that took you from the airport to the hotel knew everything! He was an encyclopedia of Rome. That wall that was built in 212 AD though, pretty cool that it is still standing after all the wars and battles the last 2000 years.

You absolutely must go see Pompeii & Herculaneum. Two of my favorite destinations, out of 14 countries that I've been to. Only the Great Pyramid tops those experiences 👌.
