I just saw a photo of a giant potato in seoul on twitter earlier, apparently for a campaign to help the Gangwon potato farmers, it was huuuge haha. All the food in the video looked sooo tasty, I really want dakgalbi now, lol

The last time I and my wife were in Korea we went to that exact same 닭갈비 place! It was absolutely incredible but the queue to get into the place was insane, took us like 45minutes of waiting as its quite small and very popular. We also did the Rail Park, highly recommend for a couple or a few photos! Thanks for sharing the video Sara :)
Awww, my province! I live near Chuncheon so this was so neat seeing you go to places I recognize! I hope you loved Gangwon~ You should try to come back for the Ice Fishing Festival in Hwacheon if it goes ahead this year! They set up lights on all the main streets and it's really beautiful!
I did a language exchange program for 5 weeks in Chuncheon! It's such a beautiful area of the country and I have lots of wonderful memories there, including eating lots of dakgalbi! 😊 I never went to the Santorini Cafe but went to A Twosome Place next door and the views are absolutely lovely. Thank you for sharing your trip and I can't wait to go back!

@@recoil53 When ppl refer to galbi, usually they are talking about beef short ribs. Dakgalbi is chicken with a spicy marinade. Sara has two kinds in this video, the traditional spicy version and a soy sauce based version. There are two ways of making it: grilled like the way you see here, or stir fried with cabbage, onions, carrots, and rice cakes. I love both ways but in the stir fried version, they make fried rice with the remaining bits when you're almost finished and it's SO GOOD. The grill char tho on the bbq version - like what Sara points out - is delicious too. So really, you can't go wrong with dakgalbi!! Hope this helps 😊

I go to Gangwon-do every other week on my motorcycle and it's my favorite place in Korea. Coming from a country where we don't have any mountains or hills, The Netherlands, Gangwon-do is just breath-taking. and Yes I agree, the dakgalbi there is amazing. I feel most true Korean food outside of Seoul is just amazing.

@@eunkoh5249 We can only travel 5km from our own house, can't have friends or family gathering's, can only exercise 2hrs a day, only shop for essentials only. So we're basically living in prison in our own home.
