  • In this video I use my Happy Crochet Bag Panel and my Happy Zippers
to show you how I make two bags! On the panel is 1 large bag to hold yarn and 1 small bag to hold crochet notions. Of course you can make project bags using these directions from my other decorator weight and cotton prints as well. This is one of the same bag tutorials that I have taught on my blog and my workshops over the years and now I have designed these panels and zippers and Riley Blake Designs produces and distributes them to quilt shops worldwide.
You can purchase my panel and zippers from your favorite quilt shop...simply do a quick google search by typing in
"Happy Crochet Bag Panel by Lori Holt" and you will find them as well as my zippers, other fabrics and notions.
So grab your panel, zippers and batting scraps and make a
    Crochet Project Bag with me:)
I hope you enjoy my tutorial and spending time with me in my happy place! ❤️

Just wanted to say I needed this video on so many levels. I am a visual learner, now I just need the courage to cut into the panel. I have been camping and trying to make a table runner; nothing was working correctly for me. I went to the pool area to use WiFi and downloaded your video. Went back to the camper, Got my comfort food out and watched the video. I did not know if I should laugh or cry when you broke needles. Thank you for leaving that stuff in. It’s life and stuff happens. It made me feel better to know that a professional even has days like that. You are a blessing to so many of us. Thank you for sharing your life, time and talent with us. Have a blessed week. ❤️

Thanks Lori for showing your thought and technique of making your bags. Needles always break at an inconvenient time. There are a whole line of different size needles to address your project. I always recommend using a heavy duty needle for bulky projects. I just recently received your bag panels and zippers, so I’m really excited to make mine. I’m thinking of using your panels for the outside and using fabric from enormous stash for the lining. I don’t know if you do English Paper Piecing, but would love to see some cute bag panels for it as well as knitting. Thanks Lori for all you do.
