Lester and Jami (Longhorn Lester, From Suits to Boots and Ima Survivor Sanctuary) are great channels. My kids love the videos as well as myself and my wife. They are some great folks who really make you care about the animals. Each of their pages offer a little different. Jami does a lot with gardening, and horses; she is very caring, funny and a great creator. Lesters page longhorn Lesters has some beautiful longhorns including two bottle babies named Ruby and Dani, two newborn calf's a girl and boy, a shorthorn bull who showed up looking for help after a nearly deadly accident, Tex the world famous longhorn, Sadie the guardian dog and more. Ima survivor sanctuary page is full of rescues, laughs, creativity, etc God bless the Morrows for all they do
They have loads of channels & make themselves enough money to buy themselves two new personal properties worth around a million $. They earn more money 💰 from those channels than probably most of the people who donate thinking they’ll be helping the animals.They breed more animals than they rescue,even breed their rescue animals.Your money & generosity really would be better used helping out one of your local animals shelters/rescues. 🥰

I do donate to a lot of local an even international animal rescue..even my own county ..and my dogs come from the shelters..but its small dollar because I am poor!!!!!! @@aimeehemingway9271they are wrong. Lester and Jami do not breed their animals, especially those they rescue. They have their own animals that were not rescued and a longhorn ranch. Any animals that do have babies usually weren’t planned and they take very good care of all their animals and land because they love those animals beyond measure. Lester and Jami started Ima Survive Donkey and Farm Animal Sanctuary with their own hard earned money after Hurricane Harvey when there were a lot of donkeys and other animals left stranded in a parking lot after their owners never came to claim them. The sanctuary is in Plum Grove. They bought Longhorn Lester’s a couple of years ago when a second major drought stopped their grass from growing. The Sanctuary never flooded until after Hurricane Harvey and this is the first time they’ve had to evacuate the hill. Watch their channels then decide for yourself if you want to support them monetarily or not rather than taking some random person’s misguided comment as truth, please.
If you have a sanctuary, you have to have a plan that involves a bunch of different people who have certain responsibilities to evacuate the animals that is your only obligation when it comes to an emergency. I know there's a lot of things to cover that's really important
@@wettailtimberwolf1996 I just wonder, do sanctuary task individuals in the community with saving animals, or using some of their property, or scouting out higher alt land to avoid floods etc? It seems to me that farmers should have their own way to communicate with each other, and their own groups and emergency plans to avoid those bad consequences
@lifestyles2482 sometimes. Depends on the land and stuff but in rural communities a lot of those farmers have their own cows or livestock they have to get to safety and sometimes the flood waters raise higher then expected. There are so many variables to be accounted for and sometimes you dont know to account for it until it happens. Sometimes employees also have their own familes they need to get to safety as well.

Plan AB and C, fires, floods, loss of power etc. Or build something that allows the animals to get off the ground, building or barn stilts or something. @lifestyles2482 yes that would be nice in an ideal world but there is no way to know how big a flood will get. Not to mention a barn on stilts isn't exactly feasible. Sure a house on stilts might be able to support a human but some horses weigh over 1500 pounds. Not to mention flood waters typically have debris that could break and damage structural supports and cause the barn to wash away as well. As for fire, you can have systems in place or multiple failsafes but nothing can predict an animals behavior when in panic. There is no way to predict every possibility. Also most sanctuaries are non-profit which means they barely have enough to cover the feed of these animals let alone specialized food for ones who are ill or have medical needs. If you dont have multiple thousands of dollars you can't build a fancy barn or have multiple massive generators for power outages.

Setting up their retirement & future longhorn breeding enterprise is more like it,Anyone who donates would be a fool.These pple are earning more money than most of the people who donate their hard-earned dollars thinking they’re helping the animals.It’s sad how they manipulate people who care about animals into supporting them & their increasingly good lifestyle.
This video is from hurricane Harvy, No animals were lost in this flood because Lester built a 10 ft berm and bought another property to evacuate if it flooded again. This time all the sanctuary animals and most of the families animals were evacuated and no animals perished. Also the longhorns are not a part of the sanctuary!
Kasey you have no idea what you are talking about. Jami has a job, she works everyday and Lester has the longhorns for there future . Lester and Jami doesn't want money from anyone and he is always telling people not to send them anything. The people that are are members and gives them $2.71 a month that is our way to help the animals and Lester and Jami has always asked us before he does anything with that money. Also his family has every right to have a RUclips page. So Kasey you need to keep your options to yourself. No one makes you watch them, so you need to go find your happy place and stop talking about people you don't know, you just see a few minutes into the there life.
