Can you tell us of modern sites? I was told you could draw a line from Newgrange too the Phoenix monument in the Phoenix Park, on further to Killiney hill obelisk, and eagles head… straight to the winter solstice… and also straight to Newgrange, then. Straight on further again to the Vatican obelisk
@@mythicalireland like the town has 2 circular shaped areas maybe a wall or hedges. The red line brushes the outside of each circular shaped area of ground. Can you see that maybe I’m reading into it.
My belief is that any alignments which are not line of sight are almost certainly co-incidental. If those people were interested in alignments why are there none between the main monuments: Newgrange; Knowth and Dowth?. I usually look for patterns like the Pyramids' Orion's belt pattern. These make more sense. If you believe the Gods are in the sky how better impress them than to create patterns they can recognise from above? The Nazca lines are another example of this.
This is fantastic. Though I am curious if you have extended these lines into England and or Scotland? Might require a larger map. I always found it quite amazing and maybe a 'Duh' moment, when an Egyptologist in the late 90's discovered that Orion's belt was the outlay for the great pyramids of Egypt. Can I say that tonight I saw Cassiopeia star alignment. I am aware that the zig zag pattern of Cassiopeia is the same pattern in Newgrange. What a great moment to see that connection.!

Wow, how very interesting!
Makes us wonder and try to understand how they were able to accomplish such things? Very, very interesting!
Thank you indeed. I intend to make more videos like this.
Are there any patterns like the Pyramids matching Orion's belt? I have looked but not found any.
So magnificent your work Thanks A.M. wonderful
What are the small circular features under Newgrange and the river bend. There appears to be two of them in the aerial photo.
Great video by irish man

Ancient canals were once where these lines are.
If a church is on a ley line one should look underneath it! Best way to oust the pagan traditions was to build on their sites of ritual.
Sorry the allignment was noted decades ago.

Not quite sure what you're trying to say, but the distance from Newgrange to Stonehenge is 422.17km!
