Will this work with a 14pin obd1 car? There is a 14pin -> 16pin obd 2 adapter cable on ebay.

It should work on all cars that have an obd2 port. I'm using an openport 1.3u cable but you can use 1.3d, 1.3r, 1.3u or 2.0. You can purchase the cables at evoscan.com or tactrix.com

+greg hassen Do you have an evo x? If not, go with the 1.3u cable, it's cheaper.
