I’m struggling with addictions. But found me a church to start attending locally so I know from experience being in church is gonna help tremendously. If it weren’t for my faith in Jesus Christ and the hope of going home with HIM IN THE RAPTURE , I would’ve completely gave up on life but I know I must keep pushing on and fighting if I want to see my Jesus one day. Today marks 48 years of life. God saved me when I was 13 years old and I survived a anyurism in my neck. I was temporarily paralyzed on my right side for 2 weeks or so.

I'm pretty sure very few people decide what they're going to be when they grow up when they are only 11. But I did. In 4th and 5th grade, I was actually a pretty mean person. But then I got to 6th grade and met a girl with a disorder called Mowat-Wilson. I met a boy with cerebral palsy. I met another boy with autism. And finally, I met a girl who was a dwarf and couldn't speak. I decided to become their friends because they had no one else. Everybody else saw a group of freaks. But my eyes were opened and I saw a group of the most fun, adorable, intelligent kids. I learned sign language from one of them. I learned kindness from another. I learned patience. I learned acceptence. I learned joy. Then, at the end of 6th grade, one was moving away. No one knows, but when I bent down to hug her goodbye, i swore that my profession when I grew up would be a special ed teacher. I promised her. And now, I am in 9th grade. I'm still 110% sure that is what I'm going to be when I grow up. Kids were always mean to them and sometime laughed at me in 6th grade. But everytime I hear this song, I think, whom shall I fear? This is my choice, Jesus is beside me. I know he's not laughing. He is a friend of mine. I do enjoy being with special needs people. This IS my job, even now, helping those kids through school. Amen
A noble profession to pursue, indeed! My brother has Autism and I have mild tourettes syndrome so I've witnessed first-hand how cruel people can be, I'm glad your heart changed and you found such amazing friends. I'll pray that God will use you to touch the lives of people no matter what others may think of them

I saw this comment and immediately related so much! The reason I looked up this video is because years ago, when I heard this song, it stuck in my head. Specifically the “Angel armies” part of the song. And ever since then, I couldn’t fully remember all the other lyrics, but would just repeat that part of the song whenever I felt super anxious or scared. ❤️

The melody for the chorus to this song started to play in my head out of nowhere. And I was like "I know this is from a Christian song but I can't remember which one." So I kept humming the melody to myself until I could remember the lyrics for that part and look it up. It was driving me crazy; "I have to listen to that song!" I have not heard this song in a good while. Glad I found it again.
He is so faithful even when we are not he has bought us with his blood. With his own blood! His blood hit the ground here and the enemy shook in disbelief especially when he snatched the keys to death and sin and went dancing right past Satan all way back to dad in the throne room and was like look at what I brought back the whole time I know my Lord was dancing overjoyed and all his leagues of angles rejoicing in redemption power. Hallelujah thank you Lord Jesus.

I have always wanted to be part of the popular crowd. To be noticed. My class size was only about 36. I was friends with some of the popular kids. But they weren't real friends. Last year i moved to a new school to start new. Before I started school there, I prayed that God would at least give me one good friend that is kind of like me. One that I could be myself around and not have the need to be cool or whatever. I was sitting alone in study hall when she came over to my table and she introduced herself. And from then on, we have been friends ever since. God didn't give me a friend, he gave me a best friend. There is not one thing i can think of that is different about us. Our moms have the same name and we are both half czech. And so much more. Thank you God for giving me a best friend.

When I was four, I fell off from a four story building and I did not even scratch my feet. It was a voodoo priestess who told my mom that no one ever comes to this place with kids alive and leaves out with them alive. My mom repliedn, "in the name of Jesus I came with six and without His permission, not even a piece of my hair will fall to the ground." A month later, this same voodoo priestess died and the name of Jesus was glorified. Now I am a Seventh day Adventist pastor. This happened in Haiti. Jesus is worthy to praised. Amen!
