Thank you so much for making this video. I’ve been going crazy trying to find a good tutorial on how to make strawberries for a granny square bag that I’m trying to do and this was perfect very detailed easy to follow and great explaining.❤❤❤
Ive made 4 of these now, and I've found to get a more full, cartoony 3-leaf look for the leaves I get to the end of the sl st's, and then I hdc 1 in the first sl st, sl st in the next, then tripple crochet 2, sl st, hdc 1, sl st and tie off.
Hello! I’m still a beginner at crocheting and I just finished making this! Your instructions were so incredibly clear and easy to follow through. I was doubting myself at times because some of my stitches were not as clean as yours, but I kept trusting the process and sure enough, it turned out absolutely lovely! It looks super cute and I’m really proud cause it’s not too bad for a first try. Thank you so much for the video, I hope to try out more of your patterns soon 💗
Wow these are all beautiful granny squares!! Just subscribed to your channel!! I have 3 Daughter and one granddaughter. Only one of them is interested in learning to crochet so I was thinking we can do these squares together and make 2 granny blankets one for me and one for her!! Love it!! Tfs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love this tutorial so much, I want to make all your tutti frutti squares!! Do you have any video tutorials on how to make the lemon and kiwi granny squares? WOULD LOVE TO MAKE THEM!!!
tyy, this video made me had a rlly cute cardigan idea, (combo of this granny sqaure + heart granny sqaure + checkered sqaures + normal sqaures colors being white(or beige) and red (or pink)
Btw guys, if you find it hard to make the square around it, you can also just make the strawberry, and sow it onto a regular granny square. It's a little more messy, but easier if you're a beginner.
Hello! I really love the pattern and your tutorial made it super easy to follow. I was wondering if you had a pattern for this but as a half square strawberry?
I love this video!! I’m already making a lot of squares for a project, however, I THINK (IDK SORRY), there’s a mistake in the written notes, or at least it might be confusing. For example, round 2 of the strawberry says: “Ch1, 2 sc,” and so chained one and then I did 2 sc in the same stitch but I think it’s “1sc, 1sc” right? 🤨
Hi, it should be written somewhere in the pattern notes (just below the material & abbreviation sections). - Sc 2 means that you have to crochet 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts - increases (for example 2 hdc in the same st) are called inc (sc inc, hdc inc, dc inc, etc) - Set of sts that should be made all in the same st are enclosed by [...]. For example, [hdc 1, sc 1] - Repeats are enclosed by (...) :)
Hi, that would require a totally different pattern... Otherwise you could use this pattern but make the strawberry with thicker yarn and a larger hook!
Thank you SO much for this tutorial! I can’t wait to make my own little bag! Lord willing it’ll be easy to finish 😊 here is some good news for you!! “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV “and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:30-31 KJV
Hi, I actually made a square using the lemon applique in the center but didn't share it because I didn't like it 100%. I mean, the one with a round lemon looked cuter... But if you want, I can go over my notes and publish the lemon-applique/square :)
I don’t get how she did the seeds, do you embroider one and then cut the string to embroider the next? Or do you just use the same piece of string and have a mess on the back of the square? Because it looks like she used one strand without cutting it but the back looked the exact same as the front - I can’t really tell though because of all the time cuts in that section of the video
Hi, sure, I just used one string of yarn. If you want it "clean" on the back, instead of jumping to the next seed, you could draw the yarn through the back of the sts in a similar way as for weaving in your ends. Just pay attention that the white yarn doesn't show on the right side :)
Hi, that's totally up to you. Since these squares are smallish (4", 10 cm), you might need to use more than just 4, unless you add more rounds until you get to the size that you need... Anyhow, for the top of the hat, you can do any shape... if you'd like to take a look, I have an example of a bucket hat (using different granny squares and a different yarn weight) here raffamusadesigns.com/crochet-dot-square-bucket-hat/
Ah really? I've always only chained 2 at the corners but I guess there's no strict rule when it comes to crochet. Feel free to chain 3 if it works better for you :)
Hi, you can slow down the video by setting the speed at the wheel on the bottom, right of the video. As for the written pattern, you can find it here: raffamusadesigns.com/crochet-strawberry-granny-square/
Hi, for that, you can make 4 rounds of a classic granny square. I don't have a video yet but you can find the photo tutorial here raffamusadesigns.com/granny-square-tutorial/

Hi, i would love to make a blanket with these granny Squars, but how many do you think ill need?❤❤
