I don't know what it is about Bison, but I sure love these majestic, powerful, and awesome creatures!
I have found few people that are able to put their finger on it also! They just deserve respect! The closest thing I have heard is that they just get in your blood and you can’t get them out.
@@BrokenArrowBison what is the going prices of yearling calves, cows, bulls?
They very depending on where you purchase them from. Calves are somewhere around 1,500, cows are somewhere around 2,000 and bulls are closer to 3.
We'll that was fun. Love the hat! Just going through your videos to make sure I watch them all. Keep up the great work.. thank you.
Thank you so much! They are a work in progress.
Show those beautiful bison
😃
Best meatloaf I ever had was Bison.
I haven’t tried that but it sounds awesome!
Bison: [Looks at the weird beeping human...]
Also bison: [Backs away real slowly...]
Hi Mr. Gordon! Thanks for being willing to share your experience with bison/buffaloes. I think that idea of including recipes is a great one. Also if you could do an introductory video--like the general area of your ranch, what led you to buy a bison seven years ago, that sort of thing, that would be a wonderful trailer. Have fun growing your RUclips channel.
Thanks for the comment! I definitely will have videos like you suggested coming up!!!
For me I would prefer the grunts and noise from the bison than music...
Thanks for the input Daniel!
I agree.
Thanks for the feedback Janet!
Things I notice. Introduce your likeself, like Dusty does. Turn off the music while you are talking or auction action. Explain what is happening. You have made a great start. You photography and editing really good.
Thank you so much! It has been a work in progress!
Ya 5 minutes of penned bison with no commentary was brutal.
Hi Noah! I’m a little confused. I got the impression that you just got into Bison ranching but in this video you said you bought your first Bison 7 years ago. Did you leave it and then decide to get back in it recently? Found you through Dusty and I find both of you so interesting with how you each have different ways of dealing with these beautiful animals. Keep it up. So glad you were able to hand feed the one. Love it. DK in Evansville,In. Wish we had them here. :)
Yes. We had 15 animals on our last farm and had to move farms. Starting our new herd now. Thank you!
Music the entire time?
I would like information on purchasing property, where I can find funding to get into raising Bison? Paul St Louis
I know the NRCS and FFA have information. Honestly haven’t looked into enough of the funding myself.
@@BrokenArrowBison I was a member of MoBA last year. I have had some major financial setbacks. I'm 52 and the dream is still there, I feel the lifestyle is for me.
That’s awesome! I understand where you’re coming from. I had to get some of my financial setbacks out-of-the-way before we could get started again. Keep the dream alive! My mentor is 70 years old and is not slowing down with Buffalo!
Some bisons seem more like forest bisons and others looked more like the plains bison. I know the subspecies is now mostly mixed, but I was wondering if in the auctions the subspecies is specified
I want to start a buffalo ranch 😍😍😍😍😍
So much fun!
Bison
