Volcano: The Blast Coaster was one of the most popular rides at Kings Dominion amusement park in Doswell, Virginia. The park announced the sudden removal of the ride at the end of 2018 after it had sat SBNO for most of the 2018 season. Ever since the removal, park-goers and enthusiasts alike have wondered what will be taking the place of the beloved coaster.
With the likely S&S 4D Free Spin in 2021 taking the place of the Crypt, the park’s Huss Top Spin that was removed this offseason, Kings Dominion is most likely banking on a large coaster replacing Volcano.
This is Condor, a B&M Launched Wing Coaster concept made on NoLimits 2. Set in the plot of land once occupied by Volcano: The Blast Coaster, this massive ride would change the park’s skyline and give them a world-class top 3. Not only that believe a ride like this would do Volcano justice and satisfy guests who were quite unhappy about the park’s numerous ride removals over the last few years.

As much as I would LOVE to King's Dominion get a coaster like this, I feel a smaller launched wing coaster with more intricate theming would be more in line with what they would do. The Cedar Fair chain as a whole seems to be taking a break from large scale coasters and focusing more on improving the theming of their parks along with revamping existing rides and it's a trend I'm glad to see at the moment.
Still a very fun concept tho!

I say this would be a great replacement for volcano ive been going to Kings dominion since they opened anaconda please bring this there it would blow the competition of the other parks in the area out of the water and make kings dominion dominate once again.
Too many dive loops but I really like the idea. Colours are cool too.
Needs a wing over drop after the mid brake. All wing coasters should have one.

Framerate is low. Have you tried upgrading your computer or replacing it with a better-performing one?

This looks absolutely fantastic but will CF be willing to make huge investment like this I am definitely all for this but I wouldn’t hold my breath. This looks like easily a 23,000000 or 25,000000 dollar B and M winged. Great work
Yukon striker was 35,000,000 in Canadian which is 27,000,000 American
Emperor cost $11 million. This is about 3x longer. Maybe with a package deal it could come down to $25 million. Otherwise this thing would cost almost as much as Fury 325.

Yea this is nice but orion costs 30 million, with a track length of a little over 3k feet of track. Thunderbird costed 22 million, with a little over 3k feet of track. This would cost somewhere between 50 million and 75 million dollars. I don't think its happening, sorry
Orion has 5,300 ft of track not 3,000 and Thunderbird only cost 22 million not 30 million.
For how smug you came off, I'd at least expect you to spend 5 seconds fact checking.
Although I agree the actual new coaster will most likely not compare to this concept, you've completely blown it out of proportion. I'd estimate the actual cost of this being around 30-35 mil, not upwards of SEVENTY FIVE million.

The coaster seems too long no offense maybe cut the ride down by 10 seconds and you got an affordable coaster

With the current situation that the country is now facing cedar fair and other park chains have no doubt had to postpone their original plans for the foreseeable future for starters and second off....the park IS NOT getting a wing coaster. So please stop posting nonsense like this and just wait patiently for the park to announce it's future expansion plans.
