This Video takes me back,...1984 left Manchester for work, ended up in London. The Video is very similar to my first taste of the Big smoke. What a culture shock and yes there was skin heads about, loads of em. You had to grow up very fast and get wise quicker than that other wise you dont make it and end up coming home with your tail between your legs. 5 years i lasted, it was a good time for me eventually and i probably had the best time of my life, but when it was time to leave i came home faster than a speeding bullet. The place is proper Mad, too fast and not too many friendly faces.The Video is by the Pet Shop Boys, the original female vocal is performed by Dusty Springfield, by the time the video had come to press she had died, so Barbara Windsor stepped in for the Mime and you know what it worked out TOPP.Love PSP's,Love the Song, Love Dusty Springfield and i Love Barbara Windsor.
