Fresh wort kits you say, shut up and take my money! :) Great idea! Love challenger hops as well probably my favourite english hop very versatile cheers
Fresh sort kits is a brilliant idea - could you get your regular punters to buy their own HDPE as a one off purchase and re-use it - get rid of single use plastics? (Or rent them out with a deposit)? Sustainable is the new disposable!
Fresh wort kits great idea, probably would only work for local pickup I'm guessing, would be interesting to see what shipping would cost on one of those to UK/Ireland as I reckon more than a few home brewers would be interested in them. Hopefully those Challenger hops take off this year. Cheers.
Wort kits are very popular here in Australia. My local homebrew shop has it down to an art. They brew a higher gravity wort and cube in 15l cubes (that actually hold ~17l) and suggest buyers add 3l water to bring the of down. That lets them sell more cubes per batch while still getting a 5 gallon kegs worth of beer. Check out grainandgrape(dot)com(dot)au if you want to check out their setup.
Great update as usual, the brewery probably isn't big enough yet but have you thought about doing concentrate brew kits? Boil nearly all of the water off for easier and cheaper transport. Cheers, Schnuz.
Do you have plans for some guide wires for the bines to travel up? I know you probably know this, but those hop bines will not travel up the wall on their own. Good luck.
Been using AEB last couple of brews myself Trent Fermoale is meant to be Nottingham yeast and im very happy with it! Still trying to move into brewpub looking at over 50k+ to get in there though! Cant wait to use my 2.5bbl Oban ale kit but have a long road ahead first!
If this is a thought process I would happily pay similar or slightly higher costs than Malt Miller charge plus postage costs. I loved this when they did it previously
Hi There young man, hope you don`t mind,I see you weighing out the AMS, just remember that weight wont correspond to volume unless the sg is 1.000, of course it it all depends on how accurate you need to be !!! I like the dispensers you have on the container,,,w need some of those,,,,,please post us a link .....many thanks for the video,,,regardes....
vacant gesture wort kit?! I'll have one! What's the postage to Australia? I'm curious to know if it's a viable income stream for you (or any brewery/tap room). I know it's excise free as there is no alcohol etc. Cheers!

Cheers from Oakland, California! I'm just a homebrewer for now, but it's cool to see the day to day operations of a small brewery!
Good score on the hops and cracking idea for the wort kits, hope get a good deal on the containers. Cheers

Wish it wasn't such an expensive hop across the pond. Would love to check out your brewery.
i see what you did there
Spot on vlog as always ,Put me down for a shypa and vacant kit if the idea works , cheers
hope for big results from the hops, wort kits sound good.
I got two challenger hop plants in back yard second year hope I get enough for a few brews .
@Alec Hemy not at all grow like a weed fast . I don't have the height so I send them round the yard climbing bamboo canes .
It'd be great to be able to get it in an all grain kit to make it from scratch too. Just need bags and a cardboard box
Well up for a kit if this plan comes together
