Hello hope all is well. I'd like to share my experience on a smiliar escooter, mine only goes up to 12mph which for me and my needs is enough.
Im a small 40 yr old female so I met ge criteria for it so I purchased it. All was good until I decided to be brave an go top speed.
Front wheel started to wobble a bit, I got nervous pressed the brake a bit too hard and before it came to full stop I made another mistake, hopped off. Went face first into the pavement.
I had not yet bout the safety gear, but I felt like it was no biggie. Rookie mistake. So as soon as I recover I will be buying me some knee, head and elbow protection. Until then I will not be riding that thing.
I encourage you if u havent already to please please wear safety gear at least a helmet especially the kiddo. I got so nervous. Please if he has helmets he should be wearing one. I truly is importan. I learned the hard way. Be safe please and take care.
