Interesting, I had similar experiences as a kid and young adult, the reason I went back to uni and do psych courses was to understand myself more when we hide ourselves in order to avoid being seen and to fit into a narrative to appease, we loose ourselves in the process of making others less anxious, but it’s all about self awareness and discovering that thing that weight that we struggle to navigate
