  • Everyone gets busy or overwhelmed from time to time. I haven't made any content in awhile so I wanted to talk about how quickly things can happen and how much they can change your daily life.

    Wow. What great neighbors.
I've never heard of a city requiring you to have current tabs on a vehicle that isn't being used on public roads. What a bunch of hall monitors.

If it's parked in the driveway or street it has to be in operational condition with up to date tags, insurance, etc. Even a flat tire makes the vehicle inoperable. If the vehicle is kept inside a garage or in a valid parking space not visible from the road it is not required to be operational. If it has valid tags it must have valid insurance, unless you can prove that the vehicle is inoperable and in storage. For example, when I parked the firebird I cancelled the insurance, pulled the engine/trans, and then received an audit. I had to fill out paperwork with everything that made the vehicle inoperable, the estimated repair cost, and then have a notary inspect the vehicle and stamp my paperwork before submitting it for approval. It's a whole big pain in the ass.
As far as the neighbors go, I have 2 that don't like me. 1 I tried to kick her dog for running into my yard and growling in my middle daughters face. The other one let her dog poop in my yard and when my wife asked her to clean it up she said "I didn't realize my dog pooped in your yard" and tried to keep walking, so my wife said "hang on and I'll get you some doggy bags to clean up after your dog". She hasn't been friendly since then. I don't really care about the yard, it's just grass, but I also don't want my kids playing in a poop field. We had an issue with another neighbor where their dog tried to attack my wife while she was pregnant and she ended up trapped in the car, I came to help and the dog tried to bite me. I could have pressed charges, I could have killed it, instead I got a paintball marker and gave it some pink highlights. Apologized for shooting their dog and explained the situation, that's the only time we've ever spoken (he's on the sheriff department and got in trouble for permit violations, we voted for him to be allowed to keep his pool/deck/patio even though code enforcement could have made him remove it all). We get along great with the rest of the neighbors. Help each other with yard work, vehicle maintenance, gift baked goods, etc. Can't please them all.

lawns are so stupid it was something to brag about in the past from what ive heard and became a trend in homes simply as a way to waste resources as a sort of how do i saw it just a show really
the original purpose of lawns i think were so everyone could have there own gardens or something like that
