proud of owner of a Transit 2.4 TDe with 125 horse power, almost milion km from 2005, still running strong, included the infamous Ford ASM semi automatic gearbox, needed some work around the pump, nothing expensive or impossible. This kind of van must be rebuilded not trashed, because i try to swap it for newer one 3 times, IVECO, Mercedes, Ford, and there's no way i feel ok especially when towing up to 2000 kg... i just needed a bigger turbo and some tune on diesel pump, than was ok and still is ok. Will be rebuilded, here in italy, no issue with rust at all.

Even if it is not spinning enough a fair level of coolant should be present in the tank upper left, check it more often make sure it is not dissapearing. The arrow, if gauge is propperly working, should be kept before the second white line on the right in /norm\ field. Overheating is almost always leading to excessive wear of mechanical parts and there are certain signs if it occured. If it starts well and has normal fuel consumption and not drinking oil and coolant it should be fine.

my dad had the same exact color whit the same exact trim but whit a refrigerator, some people stole it to transport iron then left it rotting in a garage where then a mechanic found it and sold out the pieces, now we have it back and its just the seats and the chassis.
