Basically in 'I need you' they depicted the members being happy and having a good time. However, behind everything there was sadness and grief. You would see many happiness but then see the members alone. A lot of happy scene, less sad, but the sad was very clear and brought out the happiness. Does that make sense? It's like, everything is good in your life but deep down, not everything is as it seems. 'Run' is the opposite. In this MV, they show more of the members sad moments, filled with grief, sorrow, etc. You don't have to look in detail and slow down to see the bad, because it's almost all you could see, but you see hints and clips of happiness. Happiness in amongst all the sadness. If that makes sense. Like RM said, their chasing their happiness, which is why you see less good and joyful scenes but more sad scenes. It's the complete opposite of 'I need you'. Hope what I said hepled you understand what Jungkook said better.
I always thought why does everything related to hyyh era makes me so nostalgic and emotional.. Now I realise it's about youth and the fact that youth doesn't come back, the boys themselves were young during this and now they are all grown up. Run, I need u this era they are not just mvs it's actually their youth as we can see that there is not much difference in the mv and behind the scenes, they all are having fun,chatting.... And watching someone's especially bts old memories is indeed an emotional thing... At first I thought: „What's wrong with me? The only thing I understand in this whole song are a few words?!" BTS did an amazing job with both the MV and the song because even as a non-korean fan I could feel these goddamn feelings that nearly made me cry like a baby by watching and hearing it.
