Seriously one of the best games I've ever had the privilege to watch live; thanks for the highlights! I love the spirit by Fury of the retracted foul call at 11-11, and the no-contest by Phoenix down 12-11... just incredible spirit.
Still don't understand how the play with Harris and Rippe gets a blue card (on Harris which I don't agree with) but the one at 13:57 doesn't. That is a textbook dangerous play and should have been a yellow if observers are trying to mitigate issues with contact.
I actually agree with the lack of a blue card at 13:57. The defender only hits the disc (possibly hands too) while avoiding all other body contact. Nazarov only falls down from her own momentum after the catch, not due to contact. It's much different than the body to body collision between Rippe and Harris.
I didn't feel either should have had a card. Agree with HQB on why the second one shouldn't. The replay of the first shows Harris bidding parallel to Rippe and Rippe turning into her as she flies by. I don't think it's enough of a move by Rippe for her to get a card, but definitely her fault that the contact occurred.

Yeah, really impressed by Maggie Ruden retracting that call. It's so hard to tell whether the defender had it first when the timing is that tight.
What a rollercoaster of emotion this game was

If given, the first one should have been the other way. The defender held her line and the contact was initiated by the offensive player.
Who was the dangerous play called on, defence or offence?
The defender, Fury's Harris. IMO Rippe should have gotten one instead.
@@HighQualityBanter_ It looked like neither of them really agreed with that call though, at least from the way I'm reading it.
@@genericembarrassingusernam7843 You're right, Rippe retracts her call and doesn't like the blue card either.
