I recently started lifting weights, and there’s no turning back now because I’m totally obsessed. I’ve never felt as good in the gym as I do when I’m lifting weights 💪
As a mom of 3 under 3 I appreciate your acknowledgement to ppl trying to lose weight with kids. A hack I've learned for sleep is trying my best to catch a little nap when they're all napping if possible. It might not be a lot but an extra 30 minutes of sleep 2-3 times a week can help more than we think. Also including God in the journey is so key, in the moments that I feel weak I can pray to him and have the temptation to be lazy or over eat lifted off of me. And as always DRINK YALL WATER
I’ve lost about 50 pounds over the last year and a half, and I feel like since life got busy lately I started slipping out of my healthy habits. I felt like I was losing all of my progress, but you’ve reminded me that it’s ok to live my life outside of a routine and get back to it without feeling like it’s all or nothing. Needed this so much💖
I am a silent follower and have been for a year now. You are truly my biggest inspiration when it comes to health and wellness. I love each and every one of your videos and your way to live your life. You have honestly helped me on my journey so much❤
I just got my gym membership back a few days ago. Yesterday was my first day back at PF and it felt so good. I have a small home gym, but like you said, it’s limiting and I personally just needed to get out of the house. I already work from home so it’s nice to get out. Definitely better for my mental health.
I was intaking protein like crazy still In a deficit and took a break. My waist has gotten much smaller without all the protein. Im focused on reaching my goal weight at the moment before I go back to trying to recomp my body with gaining muscle, for now. 83 pounds down, 35 pounds to go😵💫🫠🙌🏾
I’m an over analyzer too. There’s so much information out there but the basics is where it’s at. I started walking 1 hour a day, even if it’s slow, counting calories( focusing on protein and fiber), lifting weights(full body 2-3x/week) and I feel better than ever. Consistency is key!
I know this is a health and wellness video but I would love a makeup video this looks perfect for my everyday makeup. You could even do a q/a while doing your makeup 🩷
Morgan this is SUCH great advice!! I am a 41 year old mom, and even though we are in different life stages, you are so inspirational to me! I feel like your advice applies to people of all ages, it’s attainable, and sustainable. I appreciate this so much about how you are using your platform! ❤ Thanks for the Monday motivation and for all you do!
Not going to lie my struggle for years was the food aspect’s of weight loss. With it being to much, to little or just all the wrong things. So when I started taking things seriously I got a scale, and just tracked everything as I normally would. It was crazy to just learn that info and then start working on finding swaps, what a serving size is, and meals that I enjoy. It took a little a month for me to feel good about that and not working out or walking nothing just the food aspect my one focus I lost weight. Since adding weight training and working out it helps my mental state so much. And for ladies it’s so important for having muscle mass to help you go through life easier, protect your bones long term, and the accomplishment you feel when you add a extra set, move up in weight, FINALLY got the form right. 🖤
I just want to say how amazing you are and how relatable and down to earth you are. You would make the best best friend! I love your videos keep doing you !
I’d love for you to share your favorite lifting programs you’ve done! I’m currently looking at a few different ones but I’m curious what you like and why
I’ve only tried the alive app & muscle mommy by mindpump so far. I’m going to post a review on muscle mommy & to be completely honest I am going right back to the alive app soon because I miss it
You talking about not getting stuck on the numbers brought me to instant tears 😭 I've been working really hard for the last few months and on and off for the last two years. I've never been so anxious about the numbers as I am now because my doctor gave me a time schedule to lose a certain amount of weight. I can't keep obsessing though. It's just affecting my mental health.
I’ve been working out for the past 3 months. In the beginning my weight was going down but now it’s going back up. I’m not going to use the scale anymore lol
Would you recommend machines? I’m just starting out and have only like 20ish minutes a day to weight train and have been using the machines in Planet Fitness’ 30 minute circuit. Could I realistically see progress doing that 3 days a week?
That's been my biggest issues. Definitely overanalyzing everything. I keep thinking I need to do pilates etc bc I wanted to be so thin like the pilates girls but my body is not that type. It's so so stressful and knowing i need to lift weights

Weightlifting is essential and the Alive app is my favorite for weightlifting! ❤
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen on this topic. Great video! Thank you!
As someone who has been depressed since childhood and moves everyday, it does nothing for my mental health. My brain is so broken. 😮💨
Morgan, what is the blush you’re wearing in this video? Your makeup looks gorgeous!!

Excellents Questions. I liked your determination
did you track macros or calories during your weight loss journey at all?
