And a happy 15th year since I have discover his voice and character.
祈声 (Kisei) is one of my favorite song and I always wanted to do a Gakupo cover of it but since there is so many voices of differents range I had to take my time and learn more about mixing and tuning before releasing something I would be proud of.
It was a long ride but I'm really happy with the result, I'm even a bit emotional when I think of my younger self who used to listen to a lot of gakupo's songs when I was in a really dark place to feel better. Im sure she wouldn't even be able to imagine I could do my own covers years later and create exactly what I want to listen. I know it's just a cover, I just did the tuning and the mix, but it's still a way to connect with something that I love for 15 years and will keep going. Maybe one day I'll do my own original song, who know ?
