So what if Passion dropped some bass? That created so much energy. And the Mariachi guy was amazing! The mix of cultural influence in this song so evidently shows the love of God. The bible tell us to dance and shout and make "a joyful noise"!! We all worship in different ways. I've noticed something that this song reinforces at the beginning. Christians prefer to stay in the emotional high that comes with the onset of salvation rather than the trek to spiritual maturity and trials that not only should be taken, but is commanded to be taken. It's not all about emotions, and thank goodness for that since our emotions can be all over the place. In fact, the hardships and trials will probably get us down, but the joy of Jesus is what gives us hope through all of it since trials are guaranteed to come.

Being there on the floor when this happned at Passion 2013 has to be one of the biggest highlights of my life. Every time i watch this i remember what it was like being in a dome filled with 60,000 people dancing their faces off before the Lord to a song that we all have never heard before! That moment, something was unleashed, not just in me, or in everyone there, but into the atmosphere. The fire that lit up in that place that night is indescribable. I simply cannot wait till Heaven when Believers from every generation will forever praise the Lord together. This was but a small taste. Jesus, i pray you bring Heaven down to earth in moments like this for your glory to be magnified.

Certainly is amazing how much energy there is in person, I went with my youth group to salt lake city for a convention back in 2004 as a junior, and in 2000 I went to a concert event in Duluth MN with sonic flood. Those concerts were among my first in my lifetime to be at.

I'm not against Chris Tomlin. I am against deception in the church. The church has lost the presence and power of God. It's been replaced by entertainment and goose bumps. Watching videos like this help keep me in touch with the deception that is running rampant in the church, since I would never be a part of this in person. I am so stunned by the lack of understanding of who God is, and the lack of a desire to die to ourselves, among people in our churches. Church is becoming a social club that we attach the name of Jesus to. Instead of preaching the Gospel of Christ, preachers are talking about how you can have your best life now, completely missing the fact that this world is but a blink of an eye, and the real prize we run the race for comes after we pass away. Musicians are singing about a dance floor in heaven that is not scriptural. We have neither the presence nor power of God in our churches and we don't even know it, must less care! We fight against his Spirit. We sing songs about inviting Him to run the show, but when do we REALLY do that? Don't we bring a pre-scripted ritual to all of our services? When do we REALLy trust that He will lead us and speak to us and provide for us? When we're ready to truly be honest with ourselves; when we're tired of settling for less than God; when we're truly hungry for Jesus and sick of this world; then we are able to see this truth, and the deception will make you literally sick to your stomach.

I've noticed something that this song reinforces at the beginning. Christians prefer to stay in the emotional high that comes with the onset of salvation rather than the trek to spiritual maturity and trials that not only should be taken, but is commanded to be taken. It's not all about emotions, and thank goodness for that since our emotions can be all over the place. In fact, the hardships and trials will probably get us down, but the joy of Jesus is what gives us hope through all of it since trials are guaranteed to come.

Being there on the floor when this happned at Passion 2013 has to be one of the biggest highlights of my life. Every time i watch this i remember what it was like being in a dome filled with 60,000 people dancing their faces off before the Lord to a song that we all have never heard before! That moment, something was unleashed, not just in me, or in everyone there, but into the atmosphere. The fire that lit up in that place that night is indescribable. I simply cannot wait till Heaven when Believers from every generation will forever praise the Lord together. This was but a small taste. Jesus, i pray you bring Heaven down to earth in moments like this for your glory to be magnified.

I'm not against Chris Tomlin. I am against deception in the church. The church has lost the presence and power of God. It's been replaced by entertainment and goose bumps. Watching videos like this help keep me in touch with the deception that is running rampant in the church, since I would never be a part of this in person.
I am so stunned by the lack of understanding of who God is, and the lack of a desire to die to ourselves, among people in our churches. Church is becoming a social club that we attach the name of Jesus to. Instead of preaching the Gospel of Christ, preachers are talking about how you can have your best life now, completely missing the fact that this world is but a blink of an eye, and the real prize we run the race for comes after we pass away. Musicians are singing about a dance floor in heaven that is not scriptural.
We have neither the presence nor power of God in our churches and we don't even know it, must less care! We fight against his Spirit. We sing songs about inviting Him to run the show, but when do we REALLY do that? Don't we bring a pre-scripted ritual to all of our services? When do we REALLy trust that He will lead us and speak to us and provide for us?
When we're ready to truly be honest with ourselves; when we're tired of settling for less than God; when we're truly hungry for Jesus and sick of this world; then we are able to see this truth, and the deception will make you literally sick to your stomach.

My favorite song still ! Out of the top 20 of his. 😇 Made a ringtone out of the intro. So many people used to ask me about it. Then at Rock the universe when he played this, everyone was like oh thats your ringtone. Would love to see more songs like this from Chris. I love in this video when the security guy starts dancing. That's the power right there.
