Yeah, i noticed James's sound has been low in a few recent videos. We run the same mic in our home setups. The SM7B is a fantastic mic, but it's designed to run through a mixer. In isolation, they're not strong enough. When we sold our podcast studio we had the same issues and had to buy everyone cloud lifters. The sound is levels above and similar to the mixer.
I have been commenting that James volume was low for weeks and I am bald that others are finally saying it as well because i thought I was going deaf 😂

On Eth, i have to use a bunch of bridges, compare bridging prices and have balances scaterred throughout a bunch of different chains, plus paying very high fees. As someone who used ETH since 2019, i now realize i used it because it was the only option, not because it was good.
Even after James' 'jacking up volume to the max,' there was still a significant discrepancy, in levels, with CTO Larsson's level the highest (& his voice was also contributing to even higher %, when he lifted his voice. Just his booming vocals). For people like me, who are not sitting & watching; but listening to it, early in the morning (didn't want to wake the family), I was constantly having to adjust the receiver's volume up & down: about 8-10+% difference. I can only imagine how bad this would be, on headphones. Had to switch off: please do mic checks, before stating livestream, in future. Be appreciated.
Surprised none of these channels opts to do an interview with a vanguard etf manager to explain the rules. Doesn't even need to be the btc etf manager, just someone with a decade or so of knowledge operating them. I've listened to to interviews with other etf managers and they have explained all the things that IA routinely considers "something fishy" as normal and to code. Feels like it's most likely just a lack of experience with that particular financial instrument's regulations.

Have to say James you're spot on regarding L1 adoption. Any new L1 has to gain community and developer activity early on. If they do anything to kill it, then it's night night to the whole project and no coming back. There's too many other options for people to go to.
The main problem with L2s is cross chain movement. Its complex and risky. You make one mistake on a bridge and poof, money gone. You can forget about non experts putting their money into that stuff.

You guys missed out entirely that main reason ETH has been trading down is because of market anticipating ETF's to be denied. Now that it seems there's higher chances of approval, the price started to correct accordingly very quickly... Yeah if the ETF gets denied, ETH likely drops back below $3K. But if it gets approved, breaking all time highs and smashing past $5K and well beyond that is coming. ETH has had inflationary periods after the merge as well, this period is nothing new. Its expected as ETH L1 usage drops and the usage moves onto L2's. And by the way; ETH's inflation rate is still below BTC's inflation rate. You talk all the negatives, but ignored all the possible positives.

We can thank Ethereum for delivering the prototype for distributed computing. Unfortunately it did not coalesce into a religion which Bitcoin did. Bitcoin's archaic architecture, slow, low throughput is sacred dogma that is immune to criticism to the true believers. Ethereum, not so much.

well narrative only holds until the news change the narrative. now ethereum etf seems bit more likely than before, so the price is shooting up. thats why relying just on charts when it comes to investing is foolish, the best gains are made by taking the bet against a trend at the right time, its also called taking advantage of trend reversal early.

Add a Cloud Lifter to your set up and the audio will be boosted. This is an issue with Shure SM7B mics that don't run through a mixing board.
