For typing, I recommend practicing with "MonkeyType" website. Although 40 words per minute should be fine, I do recommend that you should be able to type at least 60 words per minute. For writing, please take a look at the structure, and type as much as you want as long as the ideas are under the question boundary. This is also the same for Speaking.
