Love the impromptu geology lesson along with all the usual food content! I took a Geo 101 class recently so I can at least add that the stone forest is an example of karst topography. Very old and very cool
Omigod, Amy, you're doing fantastic work, creating a virtual encyclopedia of Chinese cuisines, which might never have been documented in one place before your channel. The story of that regional duck in particular was interesting to hear and now I'm starving! 😂 Keep up the great work!
Yi Liang Roast Duck is my favorite dish ever! I grew up eating it at Xue Cheng Restaurant. Such great memories! I'll go back to Kunming this December and definitely will indulge in a lot of good food in my hometown. Thanks for sharing, Amy!
Siu Ngoh Roast duck is probably the juiciest and fattiest meat i have ever tasted. Sweet crispy skin and chewy meat laden in duck fat. Sweet plum sauce, spring onion pickles and hot rice. Omg. Just out of this world
YOUR AWESOME AMY! I have been watching your vlog since the video your did exchange in Tsinghua university while you watch Gilmore girl in the end! It’s good that you let u understand more about China! Thank you and will keep on supporting!

As an overseas Chinese who does not have any roots left in China, you have made me think about visiting the land of my ancestors. Thank you for doing that. 🙏🏼😄🙇🏻♂️
YunNan series of videos are excellent! Good job, Amy. Thanks for the effort to discover gourmet food of this province and present those to us. Thumb up for you!!!
The best part of the Beijing roast duck 🦆 is the crispy skin wrapped in the wrapping with the sweet dark sauce 😋😋🤐🤐👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Also, another food item that best to be wrapped is the roast pork’s crispy skin which is the best way to eat it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Kunming at 0:30. Many people have no idea how great a city this is. My mother lived there for 13 years and enjoyed everything about it. One of the advantages of living there was all the great food.
I watched many of your videos. Not all but many and you were always having large meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But you are in excellent physical shape. Impressive! You must have some serious workouts.

You are so fearless! Wandering around on your own at the south of the park without seeing anybody around for half an hour :( Really admire your courage!😅
The chef mentioned about 便宜坊, it's 闷炉烤鸭. They learned this skill from 便宜坊。In Beijing there are two kinds of techniques, 全聚德 uses open flames 挂炉烤鸭,便宜坊 uses sealed oven 闷炉烤鸭。
Chef was so awesome! So passionate about the duck and its preparation. And my God, the color on that duck was amazing! Drooling here…

You should eventually do a duck tier list or ranking video, considering all the duck you've tried.
