Hi Nicole :) Send it as a campaign rather than an automation. THEN if you want every new subscriber to receive it moving forward, add it to your automation. Hope that makes sense
This is a great tutorial, but it's now outdated on one vital funciton sadly. MailChimp no longer offers email series automations for free, making the free plan utterly pointless in my opinion. I switched to MailerLite who offer email series automations for free...

No it'll only be sent to new subscribers. If there's content in your email that you'd like everyone on your list to have... then I'd recommend sending a campaign to the entire list prior to making the welcome email live. Hope that helps :)

So i did it again, following you along. Again. Then I stumbled over it. BOTH! So i deleted the last one. Tested it again. And I don't get the welcome email. And again, I cannot find it anymore. Where do i have to go to edit that first welcome email that goes out when somebody subscribes?

It seems Mailchimp only allows Automated multiple emails such as the Onboarding Series to paid users only, meaning it's not on the free plan anymore. Is this correct? Do you have any other suggestions for the free plan only?

HI Davi. I'm not sure, I've never used Woocommerce however if you google setting up Mailchimp in woocommerce I'm sure you'll find a tutorial on how to do this :)
Thanks for the video. I tried it and I didn't have the same drop down menu. It only allowed me to choose an audience I already had created. I tested it out and we got an error message API Key not valid. Any clue?
I have a pop up on my website where people can opt-in for a sample of my book. This is supposed to trigger the email being sent with the sample but I don't know how they are connected.
@@carollynnlopez the interface has changed since I recorded this video (working on an update at the moment!!) is your pop up created with MailChimp? They've changed to 1 audience on the free account however you're still able to segment your list :)

Hi there! Thanks for your Q. Well, it depends... if they have subscribed to multiple opt-ins/freebies they'll get sent the welcome email multiple times so I'd recommend ensuring the content is different for each. BUT if you're just asking if you create a welcome email NOW will it be sent to existing subscribers than the answer is no ;) hope that helps!

Click on Campaigns at the top. All campaigns. Automations on the side. Hope that helps :)

Urgh how annoying! I don't use MailChimp any more (I use Flodesk!) but double check your new subscribers are being added to the correct list/segment.

I just signed up for mailchimp and it says up to 2000 email is free!! is it correct?
