For the first time ever, I have never seen an MVM robot actually doing a taunt kill on a player before until now. This is certainly a new discovery for me

As a 500+ tour player, this is just your typical average day. Also every medic loves an engie that can do the technique at 1:23, just free crits to instant kill every giants dropped there, this is what we call, buster farming. Not only it helps the medic a lot, but it also helps him save money to buy more useful upgrades. Now the things I said may not be “up to date” since I personally haven’t played TF2 for about half a year now, so I may be a little rusty explaining these things
Yep, the exploit is where the engi uses a bind while mid air (why that point is so useful) while carrying the Sentry to destroy the sentry. Old mate buster has his homing beacon set on that Sentry that no longer exists so just waddles around not knowing what to do
@@warrencarthew1694 Oo, Ive seen that glitch done many times but didnt know how to actully do it. Whats the console command to do if I wanted to bind the destroy sentry command to,lets say G button? And if that glitch depends on console command, why I only see it done at Mannhattan?
@@Ykskolme I just have a bind to build a sentry and use that as using the build sentry bind destroys the current one. Good question about why only in Manhattan, I have honestly never tried it in other maps. Time to test it
@@Ykskolme OK i was slightly wrong, i have been using this bind that long i forgot it was a double bind of destroy then build alias sentry "destroy 2; build 2"; bind "g" sentry; If you just wanted to destroy then this will work alias sentry "destroy 2"; bind "g" sentry;

It's your own fault if you happen to stand infront of them while they're taunting. 2:13 I think what happened here is that the Giant Soldier somehow noticed the Spy, and since the robots attempt to stay away from said Spy, it stopped in it's tracks, thus remaining Übered. 8:04 Okay, so, Sentry Busters are actually remodeled Caber Demos, and since the Buster is designed to self-destruct upon getting close to a sentry, it hit the engineer, thus activating the caber explosion.
As a man with hundreds of tours and more than 7 years of mvm experience, i've seen a lot like that. Flying giants, telefragging robots, getting telefragged by robot spies, 10 sentry busters at once (which stops any other robots from spawning), spies trapped behind doors, sentry busters giving up before leaving spawn. I really think i've seen it all.
0:21 Yep, even though the animations for said taunts are changed, Valve forgot to remove the taunt kill functionality from the respective weapons when they are held by the robots. It's an annoying as fuck bug that's been in the game ever since the mode released, the animation tricks virtually everyone into thinking the taunt kill is disabled for robots because the "attack" part of the animation (Eg the eyelander sword slash or the huntsman arrow stab) doesn't happen
0:31 The Medic shouldve seen that coming Huntsman robots do the stab-stab-stab taunt, even tho visually they do the waving taunt. So that robot tauntkilled Medic That robot then died very fast, but they respawn very quick if possible. The robot walkin out of robot spawn was considered as that dead robots 'player' so the killcam zoomed into it 1:27 is also well known glitch I see commonly done at Mannhattan. Free uber for Medics Dunno how to make it occur tho :p On sidenote, Sir Nukesalot is easy boss and its very great fun to mess with him. I often go in front of him and just melee for shits and giggles

The robots can taunt kill you??? I've played tf2 for a few years and I've literally never seen that happen before or even heard of it happening and I've gotten pretty close to them before
Robot Snipers dont have any other animation so the huntsman ones are actually doing their taunt kills but u wont see it visually. TF2 is out for how many years now and people still dont know that?
I haven't played MVM in a while. It's way too toxic. Everyone expects you to play the meta, and if you don't, then you're the worst type of human being. I do miss the game mode though. It's pretty fun.

lol just today i saved a medic from the same taunt by airblasting the sniper away
Remember Robots with Bows and swords can still taunt kill if if there about to buff there robots allies
One time got finger gun taunt killed by a boxing gloves of killing heavy.

I always wanted to know how the Sentry Busters didn't know what to do, because they don't run, they just stand there 🤔
This is why you stay away from the bots as Medic unless there is a sentry buster or you are being targeted.
Did not know the MvM robots took fall damage, much less the giant robots
