    Thanks for the video! I have a domestic machine so stitching through many layers doesn't always work out so well. Instead of using the lining piece of cork like you did, I used the Gap Cover pattern piece. This covered the area between the ID holder and the card holder sections. By using this piece I didn't have 4 layers of cork around most of the wallet.

    Great video Leslie. You need to keep making them. The camera angle is great and you explain the steps clearly with no confusion. Great job.

    I love your technique for hiding thread between the layers! 🥰 Such a clean professional look! Actually better than professional because they backstitch all the time! 😂

    Love this little wallet, but do you have a video on how to add the money clip pattern piece? I'd love to make one for my grandson with the money clip. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

    I LOVE this tutorial. SOOOO helpful and I love all the tips you mention to really make it look professional!
    One question - where did you find your patterned htv for the area that shows through the card slot? It’s perfect for that and would go with so many fabrics! I’ve been looking for something like that but have struggled to find something like that.

      I actually got it from a destash, I haven't found any similar either. I'll keep you posted if I do find any!

      I use a hand sewing needle. In the description, I have linked my favorite things, they are listed under other 😀

    Two questions?? Is that a cylinder machine with a flat table option? How to engrave your brand on the cork?

    • @JoleeleeCreations
      @JoleeleeCreations  2 года назад +1

      Yes! It is a TechSew 2750 cylinder arm!
      The cork was laser cut and engraved!! We are working making pre cut cork pieces with logo options so make sure to follow us on FB!

    Is there any particular reason you used Fabri Tac instead of using DST on the final assembly? Thanks!

    • @JoleeleeCreations
      @JoleeleeCreations  2 года назад +1

      I was worried about slipping off the corners when top stitching, I will use fabritac for the ID window and Card Slots Next time as well. I think it just keeps it from squishing a tad bit more around the curves
