- Paul Frankland, aka Woob, has been one of my favorite ambient/electronic artists for a long time. He has made me the immense honor of providing "Paradigm Flux", a new track of his, as the soundtrack for this new time lapse piece.
Paul is among the most acclaimed ambient musicians of his generation and has created several milestones of the genre, including the well loved Woob 1194 and Woob 4495 albums on the late Nottingham-based em:t label.
If you like great evocative, cinematic ambient music combining organic elements with world and dub influences, by all means check out his latest album, "Repurpose": www.woob.bandca...
"Paradigm Flux" is available here: www.woob.bandca...
You can also find an interview regarding the process of making time lapse movies on his blog here: www.season9.wor...

love it. great work.
i live in tokyo and i think you've done a great job of capturing the city and the vibes :)
I absolutely LOVE Tokyo!
amazing !
Excellent!!!
I can't tell you why someone would want to live there, but I can tell you why I want to.
1) I always wanted to experience the Japanese lifestyle and culture, ever since I was a teenager.
2) We regret more on the things we don't do than the things we did.
I understand your point I might have a difficult life in Tokyo, but right now I am trying to become an entrepreneur in NYC. After I become financially independent, I will live in Tokyo for several months, if I like my lifestyle I'll live longer.
It's impossible to see some of those scenes now as some parts of Shibuya station have changed so much
Fantastic stuff!!!!
good work !

And now I feel Tokio!

awsome!! TOKYO!
living there is one of my dreams...

@samtk01 hey man! Could you message me? I have some questions about this video I`d like to ask ya. It pertains to stuff I wanna use on my channel
Thanks!
Jason
where is the place on 1:19 min i want to find it and to see it with my own eyes if i´m traveling to japan^^
The location of the camera was between Ochanomizu and Akihabara stations in Tokyo, with it looking towards Ochanomizu station (which is just behind that arched bridge).
Ochanomizu Station in Tokyo
Why does this remind me of the Tokyo Megaplex in SSX Tricky? I just can't put my finger on it... :/
titles in the beginning ruin it...
why would someone seriously want to live there:
its cramped up
its incredibly dangerous to ride a bike
mt fuji is about to blow
a huge earthquake is likely to hit that region, just imagine that many people panicking
rents are freaking ridiculous
better let it stay a dream, tokyo is a beautiful city, totally recommended for holiday, but for living, no, just no, dont let these beautiful images and fancy otaku akihabara or shiny shibuya mislead you :)
