The simpliest explanation of their song is about the negative attitude of Filipinos that affects the dreams of one like crab mentality. When someone try to fly higher others will pull you down. It happens to SB19. Before they became popular there were bashers who tried to belittle their groups and called them copycat among other things.

1. It is biyaya (i don't think there is a direct translation for this) could be "blessing" "talent" "inherited from". So this is like a clapback to the haters out there who don't believe in them. But, they're saying that it's alright if they don't recognize their talent because they know they have it in them.
2. Manananggal.
It is right, this is a metaphor used for staying grounded. They are saying to the haters again to not worry because Even if they are slowly going up there, they will ensure that they will keep their feet on the ground. And if they think that they are monsters, then they should not sleep on them.
My challenge for your guys is to go back to your roots and learn more about our culture. 😊 Which is what SB19 is also promoting. 💙

There is a smaller Wish USA bus based out of California. The boys did two songs from there when they were in the USA in November. MaPa and WYAT. MaPa has English subs. WYAT is the best edited Wish bus performance I've seen because they included the fans singing outside and did special cuts inside of the group during harmonies.
This event was announced just hours earlier. It was SB19S legendary comeback to the Wishbus after the covid shutdown. The fans assembled by the thousands for basically a free concert. After they sang 5 or 6 songs the fans cleaned up the venue and left it almost spotless. Casual Chuck has a documentary that explained what happened that day. It gives you a really good understanding of where it took place and how the fans reacted. A'Tin is an amazing Fandom.

Even the locals won't dare hunt mananaggals, so I will not advice you guys to even attempt that.
Anyway remember their song MAPA the title is a word play pertaining to MAP and at the same time short for MAma & PApa. This song is also a word play, a metaphor for both the mythical creature (Manananggal) that no matter where success leads them, how far they'll go that their feet will remain planted on the ground. As you've seen in your search mananaggal's bodies separates in two parts as the upper part flies in search of prey, but at the end of its journey it will always reunite with their lower part that was left behind, for them to continue functioning normally. Hence the part of the lyrics saying "langi't (heaven, pertaining to the upper part of the body) and lupa (earth, ground pointing to the creatures lower body) magsasama (reunite)"
Another metaphor or analogy for MANA (biblically pertains to sustenance or grace that nourishes someone) + NANGGAL , more properly TANGGAL (to remove). So the song conceptually is a shout out to those who don't believe them (SB19), who discredits their achievements, success & hard work, basically telling them that they cannot deny or take from them the the grace, the blessings of talent, the hard work, the patience & perseverance because those are gifts from heaven. One day they'll reap the rewards that is from that MANA & make those who doubt them believe.

By the way, there is a WishBus USA in LA. The guys performed Mapa and Wyat when they were there on tour.
There's many wordplay in this song. Manananggal may refer to the monster but it may also mean "removing", so if you put it together with "mana"(inheritance) - "manananggal mana" means someone is trying to discredit them or denying their talent or "grace" in the translated lyrics.

The lyrics of Manananggal tells that people didnt know them before, or that there were those who doubt them or puts them down. Now that they are successful, they are now beholden as monsters (famous). And as they are receiving blessings (success in their careers), they will remain grounded, meaning they will never forget where they came from. Langit lupa (heaven and earth) will meet... it could be figurative like as a manananggal, they have a way to be on ground and soar high in the sky (heaven). SB19 WishBus 107,5 performances are unfortunately normally without subtitles. Also, most Filipinos can sing, but it doesn‘t mean all can sing well… But the professional (and a lot of amateur) singers have amazing voices.

Hello guys, I can say yes traffic in Manila is indeed bad specially weekdays.
But the Wish Bus was inside the perimeter of a commercial location near main road so for me they didn't caused or added more traffic hehehe...
What is icon for this event was that they announced this like few hours before the said event. And A'TIN went there and made it like a mini concert for SB19. Actually it was featured on mainstream news.
The wishbus is near the sidewalk and there are lot of traffic enforcers. There are many expressways and skyways been built, don't relie on the Phil. image from 1986 to 2015, there are many changes not only in metro manila but other provinces. You can YT the gov't mega projects from 2016 to present that were finished and still on going. We still have traffics but not like before from 1 hrs or more traffic. And travelling time to provinces are lessen now, many tourists are going to mindanao and some extending their stays. And a couple of cruiseships are docking in palawan inspite of tensions between Phil. and china in west phil. sea near palawan.

you'd have to look up the lyrics and translations separately for this one cause pablo had used some words that have multiple meanings. like "mana", a word that means inheritance and can also be related to playing games, the energy level of a game character. in religion it also means similarly (energy/food) as well. the "mana" in this song tho, is also a truncated version of "manananggal" a filipino mythical creature with vampiric characteristics that sprouts wings and separates its upper body from its lower body to go hunting. mananaggals have the ability to blend in with the people around them and only show their true forms when they need to feed/hunt.
the wish bus usually parks itself in an area where it won't obstruct traffic for both vehicles and people. they rarely have artists perform while on the road (driving) but for this particular performance i think they were driving along edsa (major highway) and then stopped at an area where A'tins have gathered (usually in Eton, Quezon Avenue).
going back to the song lyrics, i think "mana" is clever in a way that SB19 both showcases the filipino culture in terms of mythical creatures and tell everyone (including themselves) that they aren't ones to be underestimated (looks can be deceiving) and no matter how high they fly, their feet will always remain rooted to the ground.
