@CreatorMagicAI truly does wonders :) being an Android developer myself i managed to build my dream app with everything I wanted in it much faster than what I would have taken around 6-8 months to build lmfao 😂
Agreed...and then some. While I'm decades away from my serious coding days, and I have not built a real app in many years, the experience I had with Cursor was, to put it bluntly, mucking afazing. The point is not just about just Cursor, or what Cursor can or cannot do or not do today. The point is where these tools are headed, and to some degree where they are today. I now build (very simple) helper apps almost faster than I can go find one to install. For some context, I started with a little Redmond company in the early 90s, and in those days, I was trying to convince people to use a color monitor and a mouse. I demoed things like drag and drop and OLE to crowds of thousands and that was in BFE. Over the years I've heard everything from, "you will have to pry notepad from my hands before I'll use one of those "visual" tools to code" to "Son, the Internet will never impact our global business, do you know who we are and what we do?" I've heard it all and seen most of it, but what I experienced developing with Cursor for almost 24 ours straight blew me away. And to my wife and friends chagrin I have not stopped talking about it. It is hard to overstate the potential impact of these kinds of tools...and we are just getting started. From true DIY IT infrastructure, to applications that morph based on user requests in ways we can't imagine. What we are seeing today is the tip of a massive transformation in how we think about and build technology. And I don't know squat about programming in 2024. The point is, if you are one of those that choose to deny the obvious, and you want to stay relevant, you will lose. I've watched it happen to good people for more than 30 years and it was never pretty. Have fun!
Very cool! Curious what the cost was for a normal notes section in API calls. You could batch the audio to cut cost if necessary, and switch to realtime when needed. (Less urgent notes batched for later)
This is an old version of Cursor right? Would you make a tutorial making something using Cursor Composer Agent? This would have been a great Agent test tbh.
My cursor composer is no longer showing as a dedicated popup, it is located at the left sidebar (secondary panel) and it has two mode, Normal and Agent. I am not sure why the UI in the video looks like an old version of the composer on my end. Or am I missing something? Is it possible to change the display?
Can't you already use the microphone feature in the browser? I'm pretty sure I've dictated to chat gpt model 01 and gpt 4o and it will summarize in a bulleted format or any other format that I wanted to output in
I'm working on updating the tool to automate the process, and yes, training an AI model like this is definitely possible and something I'm exploring for future updates!
An unrelated question to this video from one of your previous video ; does the cursor composer automatically adjust the UI elements to the matching set of code? Like if I put together a bunch of UI code for login page, home page, another few activities all together does the ai understand where to assign those UI code?
Windsurf but both are paid actually. Cursor gives free 50 fast completions per month and 200 other completions. Windsurf gives free pro trial and idk what else.
all these gimmicks are kinda useless if they are not economically viable. Why don't you show what was the cost for this little test? is it worth it, for middle class developer, to use this way of taking notes, over simple audio recordings + non-realtime (but free) transcription later?
I’m not trying to be funny or grumpy here, but can we absolutely stop doing this greeting thing with AIs? “Hi, how are you? I’m doing great, how has your day been going?” Just stop it. In a society where people outright ignore other human beings on the street, this is disgusting and inappropriate. Stop.
your work is absolutely awesome, please keep making more. I've watched your iOS app tutorial with cursor and I'm actually using it for my startup!
Thank you so much for your kind words and I'm thrilled to hear that my tutorial helped you with your startup!
I can't believe such youtubers are available, thanks bro
Glad you stumbled upon the channel and appreciate the love!
Note, the docs aren't "trained" into the model, it just uses RAG to retrieve relevant portions of any referenced docs.
Indeed!
Glad I saw this Video.. didn't saw the new API yet. This is insane ! I just waited for this to happen 🤩
Thanks for sharing your excitement. I'm glad I could help you discover the new API!
I realized that I'm not subscribed ^^ Just did sub :) Top notch content; keep it up!
Thank you so much!
people complaining about cursor in the comments either dont know shi how to use it or dont wanna pay 20$ a month cuz extremely satisfied customer here
Thanks for sharing your positive experience with Cursor!

Great ideas! Yeah, that real-time API can get costly!
My favourite youtuber ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Brilliant example... Cheers! 🏆
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
Amazing work
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Mike. Nice to see you replying to everyone's comments. But is that really you (the authentic you) or is it 'AI Mike' responding somehow?
I can assure you, it's the real me, Mike!!!
Great video!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!

its using latest, Composer was deployed in the latest version which he is using in vid
I'll definitely consider creating a tutorial on using Cursor Composer Agent in the future. Thanks!

@@husniadil Same here, I can't open Composer in a popup, only in a sidebar.

You're absolutely right. It's possible like this too!
Thanks 👍
You're welcome! 😊
1- Can you make it, so you don't have to press every time?
2- Will It be possbile to train an AI model like this?
I'm working on updating the tool to automate the process, and yes, training an AI model like this is definitely possible and something I'm exploring for future updates!

Cursor Composer is designed to adapt to your style but it helps to reference files and provide snippets and guides with each prompt.
Why would i pay for each token of real time chat with an AI?
There are other ways for sure.
Can you share the code on github? I am trying to copy what you did, but my cursor generates code way different.
Sure thing. I may share the code in my community. Check it out! mrc.fm/cmc
❤❤
Thanks for the love!
After my experience with this cursor, I'm feeling unmotivated.
Sorry to hear that.
Curser is found to be paid, can you please suggest any alternatives that are free?
Windsurf but both are paid actually. Cursor gives free 50 fast completions per month and 200 other completions. Windsurf gives free pro trial and idk what else.
Not sure if that is what you are looking for but Github CoPilot is free now
windsurf has a free version and is very good. ruclips.net/video/AXgXKRY8u08/видео.html
Github Copilot is now free.
Repo?
Nope, not a repo, just a tutorial right now.
Api cost ?
The API cost varies depending on how long you talk. May not be entirely cost effective.

Good point. I'll try to include cost breakdowns in future!
Can do with open source and free 200$ credit for api lasts a long time
I created this back in september :)
That's amazing, congrats on being ahead of the curve!
@@CreatorMagicAI Yeah. I've been following everything since I got my hands on ChatGPT last year.
Wanna collab on something?

Interesting point!
cool, but it seems you have an outdated cursor model, the composer hasn't been a separate window for quite a bit now
Yep, 0.43 changed that!
Ah so you're just here to sell cursor
Nope, my goal is to provide helpful content. I just love to use Cursor!
just do me a favor if you need anything i mean anything just let me know thanks
Thank you so much for your kind offer, I really appreciate it!
Cursor is falling behind rapidly. Windsurf is the better product at the moment.
Interesting. I tried it but still use Cursor.
No thank you , I will stick with google 😂
That's perfectly okay as Google is a great choice too!
