"Stay in the car, Chuck" is a line that was so prominent in those seasons and it was pretty much inevitable that he would somehow swoop in and save the day. Other than that, I got nothing. Cheers!
@@spicymemes7458 I'd say he came after he saw a bunch of shows get revivals/reboots while studios weren't interested in a Chuck continuation. Probably stung that he was in the Heroes revival and the Psych movie. There's a bunch of interviews from like from the past decade of him really showing that he's got a huge chip on his shoulder.
The first 3 seasons of Chuck are fantastic I'm probably among the minority, but I'm sad it got renewed. They should have just left it there because seasons 4 and 5 were pretty terrible. I also hope they don't do a Chuck movie, too much time has gone by.
The dude is a great actor and I love the Shazam movies, but he should probably keep his politics in private. You know that you are going to get cancelled for supporting a cannibal ex-President who lost fair and square in the 2020 election (and responsible for the Jan. 6, Insurrection). And Zach believes that Gump is going to make America great again. Newsflah: it’s not and just like what happened to the attack in New Orleans recently, it will get worse if Trump doesn’t do something to stop citizens from buying guns. There’s too much gun violence in America that needs to put to an end. Sorry, Zack. But you reap what you sow.
Chuck was awesome, and I really liked the original Shazam. The sequel wasn't great and made some big mistakes, but I dont think it deserved to be a failure. It feels like Levi sensed his career was stalling and jumped on the MAGA train to get that right wing outrage money. Whilst he does occasionally speak some sense, he also sometimes sounds like he has an RFK brain worm, which hasn't helped his career at all. I'd love to see a Chuck movie, but I doubt Yvonne, who has an absolutely stellar acting career, would be interested.
If you wanna have a good career in Hollywood there's better ways of getting it without drawing attention to yourself instead of comparing yourself to chris evans and Dwayne Johnson who have had mostly successful careers without posting conspiracy theories and alienating their fan bases although in recent times Dwayne has done some weird stuff
Why would you ever cast a child as Harold in Harold in the Purple Crayon? It's not the first time I've heard that criticism but it makes ZERO sense. A kid acting like a kid is NOT funny. An adult acting like a kid IS funny. It's baffling every time I hear someone say Harold should have been a kid. That wouldn't have been funny. The Harold and the Purple Crayon movie got a 90% verified audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and an A- Cinemascore. Audiences loved it. It did exceedingly well on Netflix (as I predicted it would). They made a good movie.
Regardless of beliefs, all actors should avoid politics as much as possible. No matter what you, alienate half of your potential fan base. Just stay in the middle and appeal to the masses.
I don’t care. I’ve always been a fan. An actor and celebrity trying to do something outside the norm, because the norm in Hollywood nowadays is f**ked, and currently rewatching Chuck for like the tenth time.
Personally I don't care what side of the politics is on. He, like anyone else should be allowed to speak out however they feel is right to them. No matter if they're right or wrong in the end. As long as there is no hate attached to it I'm perfectly fine supporting him in any movie he wants to act in or create.
I'm one of those who doesn't care about his political views. He is a good actor and I enjoy his works. He isn't Rick Moranis or Gene Wilder but he is versatile and funny. I also think Hollywood is full of bullies and corporate servants. So I couldn't care less about their opinion.
I'd ask who tf was this guy in the first place? I'd never heard of him before he starred in one of the weakest super hero movies that I don't remember in spite of seeing it at the theater.
I loved chuck (although the last couple seasons were shaky), and he has great comedic timing, but he feels a bit… one note?… to me. Could be his project choices, i dunno. But as a person he is whiny, ungrateful and is spreading a lot of dangerous, anti-science rhetoric. He has the right to believe what he wants, but discouraging something like vaccines becomes my problem because he will pass on polio or covid or some other stupid preventable shit to the general public. And his insensitive comments about Covid vaccines causing cancer after his former costar’s death was fucked up. I usually am able to take a “death of the author” stance on creative works, but in this instance, I think I’ll pass. There are other funny guys I can watch that make consistently better movies an and don’t annoy the fuck out of me in interviews.
My heart was kind of broken watching this, because I had no idea about his personal life. I like Chuck and the first Shazam (uneven but fun; wasn't willing to watch the second because of bad reviews). I love Flynn Ryder in Tangled, and feel like that's his legacy even more than the other two. My kids love Harold, and my wife - who tends to dislike or be unimpressed by movies more than me - thought it was way better than she expected and that the flop was due to mismarketing, not quality. I'd heard people accuse him of being whiny, but I'm not on social media and didn't really care. I think people are entitled to right wing opinions on how the country should be run even if i don't agree. But I just don't understand how somebody claims to be faith based and says they don't endorse negativity and then supports Trump. 😢
Wait, did he say that Covid va xx would cause "turbo cancer"???? Ok wtf is that? Bro went full kool aid. What a shame. Information (and entertainment) silos are fracturing us in very unfortunate ways. I still think of Chuck quite fondly for helping usher in the era of geek culture. Even if it may not hold up to rewatches. I was definitely a fan.

He became a Trump supporter when Harold and the Purple Crayon flopped. Nobody is convincing me otherwise.
Exactly. It's the typical "Dude with a failing career turns to grifting". He was already failing long before he came out in support of Trump.
@Fribee83 I think it started with Shazam 2 flopping. He really didn't take it well.
Nothing has flopped in Hollywood harder than those woke films they've been making.... Own it..
@@Theggman83 That really triggered you, huh?
Wow he’s much more of a diverse actor and interesting person than I thought
how about WTF happened to ALAN RICKMAN?
Pretty sure he died. Died from falling 40 stories off Nakatomi Plaza
@@Djoker99 well Joblo Horror Video is doing WTF happened to VINCENT PRICE
First time watcher here and damn this video made me laugh and I genuinely enjoyed it.
The first 3 seasons of Chuck are fantastic I'm probably among the minority, but I'm sad it got renewed. They should have just left it there because seasons 4 and 5 were pretty terrible. I also hope they don't do a Chuck movie, too much time has gone by.
It's a shame, really. He looks like he could've been a good fit for COD: Zombies.
What the fuck are you talking about 🤡
He's a passable actor who got stuck with terrible roles and a bloated ego. Hardly unprecedented, almost certainly going to happen again.
Ummm...WHY exactly is it "improbable" that Gunn wouldn't want Levi back? I'm sure Levi will be back. He's friends with Gunn and Safron.
I love Zachery Levi he’s always good I loved the show chuck and the Shazam movies and basically anything he’s In is good
Why would you ever cast a child as Harold in Harold in the Purple Crayon? It's not the first time I've heard that criticism but it makes ZERO sense. A kid acting like a kid is NOT funny. An adult acting like a kid IS funny. It's baffling every time I hear someone say Harold should have been a kid. That wouldn't have been funny. The Harold and the Purple Crayon movie got a 90% verified audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and an A- Cinemascore. Audiences loved it. It did exceedingly well on Netflix (as I predicted it would). They made a good movie.
Hi Zack
Regardless of beliefs, all actors should avoid politics as much as possible. No matter what you, alienate half of your potential fan base. Just stay in the middle and appeal to the masses.
Chuck is severely underrated. Great show and cast. Not sure if you're being sarcastic about the ladies of The View. yuck. LOL
I don’t care. I’ve always been a fan. An actor and celebrity trying to do something outside the norm, because the norm in Hollywood nowadays is f**ked, and currently rewatching Chuck for like the tenth time.
Shazam was 2019? Not ancient times.
Another ego done in by himself. He canceled himself
Dude is literally a successful millionaire 😂😂😂 #cope
@@bruceleeyourface3253 if I had a dollar for every MAGAt who whined about George Soros without your apologies.
He is still working as an actor and he is probably richer than you or me.
Hardly cancelled.
@DawidStawowski-t8e i ain't licking his MAGA/conspiracy theory boots. "F××× you, forever".
Loved him in Chuck, but let's be real here - Levy has no range. He plays the "man-child" trope in everything he stars in. He's overrated.
I thought the thumbnail was Wilmer Valderrama in That 70s Show years ago
Personally I don't care what side of the politics is on. He, like anyone else should be allowed to speak out however they feel is right to them. No matter if they're right or wrong in the end. As long as there is no hate attached to it I'm perfectly fine supporting him in any movie he wants to act in or create.
He's free to say what he wants and reap the consequences, which everyone he addresses is free to respond with.
Everyone is free to accept him or reject him. And either side can be vocal about it, too.
My kid absolutely loves the Purple Crayon movie
First of all, without watching this........WHO?
I'm one of those who doesn't care about his political views. He is a good actor and I enjoy his works. He isn't Rick Moranis or Gene Wilder but he is versatile and funny. I also think Hollywood is full of bullies and corporate servants. So I couldn't care less about their opinion.
the sound editing in this was really bad today
Laura Benanti co-starred with him on Broadway. She didn't loke him then and doesn't like him now. I think she's entitled to her opinion.
He seems very smart...
WTF happened to pinto colvig
Zack is wack
Enjoyed Chuck at the time, liked the characters but as time has gone on IRL, some of its casts are now not liked.
I see Zachary Levi as an actor who's going down the rabbit hole and should stick to acting.
Darn shame he went to the crazy side.
But I haven’t seen his work since Chuck and prolly won’t until he does a Christian Chuck I guess hahahahah
Smh what a down fall...
Chuck was epic! But I think Adam Baldwin made that show, more than Levi.
Can you do the vampire movie The Addiction next?
Worst actor ever he sucks as an actor
Wait, did he say that Covid va xx would cause "turbo cancer"???? Ok wtf is that? Bro went full kool aid. What a shame. Information (and entertainment) silos are fracturing us in very unfortunate ways.
I still think of Chuck quite fondly for helping usher in the era of geek culture. Even if it may not hold up to rewatches. I was definitely a fan.
I love CHuck!!!
