ROCK FISHING in NICARAGUA for EXOTIC species!

Went with a friend to explore a new fishing area in Popoyo, Nicaragua! We caught a trumpet fish, a cabrilla, and some little jacks! The No Live Bait Needed white paddle tail was the go to lure! This spot was epic too...lots of areas to fish off the rock and not another fisherman in sight!

Cabrilla is a family of grouper. There are many species of cabrilla and not all of them have the same flavor. But yesterday and today I was lucky enough to eat cabrilla with a very good flavor.
