My friends and I always make these during reading, and as a joke my friend came up to me and slashed. I ducked and the claws flung off (he has skinny fingers) and hit the substitute behind me. Thankfully my sub had reflexes and caught it. My friend never made those again at school.

I started this in our school when i was in 2nd grade-everyone was literally wearin them during breaktime💀
As a kid I always thought this was so cool. I could never make them and nobody would show me how. It was like hoarded knowledge. I spent my entire lunch money for the week one day on some kid to make me a set of them and I literally got them from him in the hallway and put them on and a teacher walked by and immediately took them from me because they were "violent".
I've always had shit just taken away from me, now that I think about it.
Also I remember once I found one on the ground and excitedly put it on only to have a needle stab my finger tip...there was a kid making these and folding needles into them pointing inward and leaving them around the school so when kids would find them and put them on, they'd get stuck.
My whole class did this than the lower classes started doing it that our principal told our teachers it’s banned.

i used to do this in school, i'm graduated now and for old times sake, wanted to remake the claws, but i had completely forgotten the method. now i remember thanks to this video. let that be a reminder, kids, that as much as you think you will remember your past, things do tend to slip away. i barely grabbed onto this before it got completely forgotten.

Heck yes! That was freaking epic! Thank you for doing origami, it reminds me of my recently late sister. She would've loved this. She always made things like this to cheer me up. If I was having a bad day she would make origami that could move and that would just always turn my day around, so thank you, it means a lot. Keep up the good work!

This is really a cool idea for Halloween but it is kinda difficult to master and do some of the steps because there is no voice. A voice in origami videos is so much easier. LOVE THE SOUND TRACK
