My wife and I have officially given up on buying a new car. We will look again this time next year, and probably the year after and the year after. These prices are just stupid.
They don’t, really. They are just rebadged GM of Europe or Korea models. David Dunbar Buick (who got gypped by GM’s Durant in the first place) is turning in his grave. There hasn’t been an honest Tri-Shield Buick in decades.
@@robedmund9948 Raising prices won't change the situations manufactures and dealers face. No matter how few dealerships there are. They have a backlog of inventory because what they're selling isn't worth what they're charging. And if they don't lower the prices, or offer cheaper alternatives, they'll eventually go bankrupt from lack of sales. That's what's happening now. They are pricing themselves out of the market. The price of something can only be worth what the market is willing to pay for it. People can't and won't pay for a pickup truck or SUV for $75-100,000. The lack of sales in this market is PROOf of that. If tmanufactuers and dealers don't learn from this, they won't stay in business much longer anyway.
I love your videos, been telling people this for years. A 2000-2010 Toyota/Lexus from a private seller with maintenance records, is the absolute best way to go for reliable and affordable transportation.
Bought two new cars cash this year (24) I haggled the piss out of the dealership and walked out twice. I admit I was in a great position financially. I drove old cars for years and followed the Dave Ramsey finance model. (Look it up) anyway got two new cars with each taking off 15 k per car and got a lot for an older traverse and silverado. This guy is correct the dealer is desperate to move product
Those carmax interest rates are crazy. Over 22% is ridiculous.
People are their own worst enemies at times...........
👍

Bought a 2024 Mazda CX-30 brand new for 27k. Base model but has AWD. Half the price of a Hornet.
Dang…………how did you pull that off??? That’s a really good deal
All cars should be V8s 😅
Everyone knows they’re going to ask the government to bail them out again
They already subsidized them to build them .
EVs are crap
That's like saying all ice cars are crap.
Not all EVs are crap
EVs would only make sense if Tessla had beat Edison and free wireless energy was a thing.
I'm shocked they still make buicks.

There are going to be a lot FEWER dealerships after this overpriced sh*show is over. Hopefully the few are left, will learn their lesson.......
They won't. IF (and that's a big if) some dealerships do go under, that will equate to LESS competition and even higher prices.

i would gladly pay $35 grand for one of those broncos. let me know when they chop the price by $50 k
Gonna stick with my ridgeline
EVs will NEVER make sense. What happens when we are to conserve energy? When you get right down to it, EVs run on what else… coal.
People that think making electricity is green are crazy
Cheaper to use Uber

Trailblazer looks better than a Hornet.
Bring back the Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit and Chev Spark!
Honda Civic hatch back 2 door.
Mach e gt for 50% off would be a nice buy..actually a great ride but Wildly overpriced..
I used to sell cars down there I know all about Phil long 😂
A lot of people have money, who cares how they spend it.
Can you do a video about mazda and kia ? Thank you
I have a 760 credit and my car loan was at almost an 9.
And yet they survive
Through government subsidies
They didn’t lose that money on evs. Government subsidies paid for it aka you and me.
