Huge fan of the Ford works team from the late 1970s as a schoolboy onwards. I owned various RS Fords from when I learned to drive in the late 1980s onwards inspired by my love of the works competition cars from the MkII Escort onwards. Especially interesting to me is this video as it features the Sierra RS Cosworth 3dr, a road going example of which I owned and cherished myself in the 1990s, one of the most recognised and legendary sporting cars in British motoring history.
So pleased to have found this channel, I think I have many hundreds of pleasurable hours of viewing the superb content ahead of me - particularly from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s the golden ages in my humble opinion.

Clearly, it wasn't good enough for Ford at that point. Disarray. If Kalle's sun visor had come down, then fair enough, but he never drove for Ford again. I think he was sacked on the spot, wasn't he? He was replaced by Ari Vatanen for the 1000 Lakes. And he drove for Peugeot on the RAC that year, so safe to say that he was surplus to requirements. Strange that Ford only ran one works car on the RAC. Surely Ari was available after his 2nd place in Finland?
