Just last night I bought The Mandalorian & Grogu (with cookie) action figures! THIS THING MADE ME A STAR WARS FAN after 40 years!

You need to watch Andorbseason 1 and 2 then watch Rogue One again. Trust me, it'll completely change how you view the movie. Hands down the best star wars Disney has ever produced
Welcome to the family. I was 5 in 1977, and have been hooked ever since.
I know i'm not the only one who's said so, but if you liked Rogue One, I also have to tell you that making time for Andor is a a must. It's easily the best, 'adult' star wars content ever put to film.
Feel free to hit me up if anything doesn't add up to you. It's not a perfect cannon, and disney dropped a lot of the earlier material (now called 'legends') so free them up to create their own sequels movies.. but I'll keep my true opinions on those to myself.

I can honestly say that I’m somewhat excited for this…but wish this would’ve stayed as a series instead of making it a movie.
It depends, as much as I like the show I prefer them condensing the story and going out on a high note than stretching things to the point it gets boring.
Also budget, Disney+ is not profitable enough to handle this huge budget shows for long, a movie is would be easier to sustain and not having to cut stuff out due to budget limitations
they could have had mandalorian going for 20 seasons with infinite galaxy adventures and they just pigeon holed themselves. classic disney.

This is the way they should have marketed this movie from the get go! I'm finally excited to see this movie in the theater.
@bwanabeast3169it brought back a lot of the feels from the first two seasons of Mando which I quite enjoyed. The first teaser trailer just showed some random shots that didn't give you any idea what was going on. This trailer gives me a pretty good idea of what's going on and had a lot of the feels from early Mando.
They could care less. It clearly tested extremely poorly. They are putting the absolute minimum for marketing and haven't increased. Its cooked. It will be a 6.8-7

I think they should keep Luke references few and far between. Maybe have him pop up on a Comms screen and talk to him that way, while he's off trapsing around the galaxy on his own side quests. It would be nice to see him in Ahsoka. I think it would make sense to have Ezra pop up at the base, connecting with Zeb, or talking to Sigourney Weaver's character about what's going on with Thrawn. I think it would also make sense to have Ezra meet up with Luke at some point, but somebody has to tell him about Luke first. Ahsoka didn't talk about him or his new Academy idea when they were on screen at least. Maybe we get a flashback of them sitting down for a meal before getting separated again, and she tells him about this new young Jedi who defeated Vader and is working on building a New Jedi Order. Maybe Luke hears about him through the New Republic Leadership after he gets back. It would even be great to see Ezra meeting up with Zeb, and sensing Grogu through the Force, since he has a special sort of connection with it. What I really don't want to see is Luke show up to save the day every time things get tough like a Deus Ex Machina. Having a squad of Mandolarians show up maybe, or Cara Doom and a squad of Republic Rangers show up (since the law suit is over), as a way of putting this behnd them and moving on.
Nah, they should just make the sequels with Luke instead, and then move on a few hundred years... everyone is happy that way.

• When Din Djarin talks to Kovak, a red neon sign behind him translates to "HALCYON"

7:58 i’m pretty sure a guy that takes his helmet off is a bounty hunter from the clone wars. He always slid on his helmet down the snow. I remember it was the episode with a banking plan at last remembered him in and the banking clan had a snow planet, so I wonder if that’s the planet they head to instead of hoff

I think Mando goes to Nar Shadaa to get info on the huts. It's one of Nel Hutta's moons. It is very bright with neon lights and very metropolitan. Very easy to mistake for Coruscant but it has more of a Las Vegas vibe; lots of gambling.
