we have 4 kids that span all ages of school (preschool, elementary, middle, and highschool). Our middle schooler had the flu before christmas, it was a TERRIBLE flu that lasted a full week and I managed to prevent it from spreading to anyone else. I pride myself on being able to do this and hear are my tricks: 1. wash all linens (and their clothes) they touch every single day at the end of the day every single day they are sick. I genuinely think THIS IS KEY! 2. if they are hanging out in the living room or an area where others are, disinfect (lysol spray) what they are sitting on a couple times a day and spray the room(s) in general 3. If you are feeling it, do a full blown cleaning of the couch with a carpet cleaner machine (i did this last go around because he kept sleeping on the couch). 4. sanitize/clean all surfaces in your common living area once to twice a day, making sure you are focusing on anything their hands have touched. 5. Not sure if this helps - I always will break out the oil diffuser and diffuse tea tree oil in our common living area 6. Do a cleaning of their room (all of the above in the beginning of their sickness and towards the end) and then of course regular hand washing or using hand sanitizer (them mainly so they dont keep spreading their germs!!!)
This is so funny that they are talking about favorite books because I've literally only read a handful of books in my life and Kail's first book was one of them! :) It was really good I would love to read Kail's other books but I'm broke, so maybe I can rent it from the library. I'm very much enjoying your podcast's though Kail!
Lmao that convo about the shower made me legit laugh outloud! Your guy’s personalities when talking about that kinda thing is just so matter of fact makes me laugh
Bitter people are not interested in what you say, but what you hide. There is nothing more dangerous in this world, then someone calm, clear, and angry. Does that sound familiar Lindsie?
I'm the blind person that has been listening to teen mom 2 and following you since I was 14! I really admire you!@@KailandtheChaos Seeing a responce from you gave me a big smile! I'm totally blind and hard of hearing!
I love getting my podcasts with video. I work alone and y'all get to be my coworkers this morning.
Hope we are having a great day at work!!
Hahaha I felt that way too and that was a funny response from Kail
