Mitrovic is actually a good prem striker, he just wasn’t fancied by Scott Parker last season. But in the 18/19 season when Fulham came up, he scored around 13 I believe.

I love st max, but this season (well, the last few months) there's so many other players that have been playing much much better than him. Trippier, Joelinton, Dan Burn, Matt Targett, and many even Jonjo Shelvey and Fabian Schar. Eddie Howe has changed the side so much, and improved every single player as well as the team dynamic, the player in the starting eleven that has improved the least is st max. Still think hes going to be a great player, just need to work on his end product.

Big fan of the podcast! I just wanted to say the take where mans are saying Ronaldo is finished is insane to me. Ronaldo is just in a bad slump which he can recover from, the same way players like Bruno, Rashford are in a slump as well, that doesn’t mean they’re finished they just need to bounce back. Ronaldo is also in great physical condition and probably the most physically fit player in United. Ronaldo last season was the top scorer in serie A with 29 goals and even more recently the top scorer at the euros. He’s the biggest reason United is still in the Champions League as well. Ofcourse he isn’t what he used to be before but he’s still one of the best strikers and goal scorers in the world, but the fact that you man said he’s finished is crazy to me.

Van dijk is the highest peak we’ve seen in the klopp era, suarez, henry, drogba, ronaldo have had similar seasons to salah’s, maybe not as good but pretty close but no one has had seasons like peak van dijk, this guy didn’t drop below an 8/10 for the longest time, guys were celebrating him getting dribbled past
it's insane when you actually think about it. People were literally celebrating when he finally got dribbled past, that was an insane level he was at.
"Maybe not as good as salahs" every single one of those names you mentioned has had better seasons than salah ever has. Van dijk is liverpools best player in my opinion as well. Salah is one of the best in the world right now but you mentioned elite all time players there. Salah isn't that technically gifted at the end of the day as an Henry or Hazard
@@specialperson335 Dont get it twisted, salah is already an all timer, hes spent 5 years operating at a world class level, hes possibly gonna retire as the goat of the prem (hes on course to get 30 goals and 15 assists this season) given he wins a few more trophies, but its a toss up between whos peak is higher, van dijks or salahs because peak van dijk was neck and neck with messi while peak salah is neck and neck with benz and lewa
At the end of the day being a defender is a million times easier than being an attacker so Van Dijk will never be as good as those players
@@sionphillips7141 nah thats just nonsense, van dijk literally played every minute of every game between 18-20 and we won got to the cl final, got 97 points, won the cl and the league, and the main reason for that was the defence, we were so hard to score against and van dijk was quite easily our best player from 2018-2020
